Wow, I don't think we've been allowed out that late in years.

Kids in Australia need to know that you only go to houses with pumpkins outside. Thats the rule, right? bigrazz

Here it's only houses with the porch light on, or obvious things like lots of decorations & the front door half open. Still every year we get a few kids, even though we make a point of leaving the porch light off, have no decorations, & close all the curtains. no

exactly! I had my porch light off!

I should've played a trick on them >_>
me: Ok kids, hold out your hands!
*kids holds up their hands*
me:ALRIGHT EVERYBODY! HERE GOES!
*kids looks at me with their eyes all sparkly*
me:BIG LOW FIVES FOR ALL!~
kids: O_O
me: now scram! -_-

They lob fart bombs into your house here, in addition to eggs, tp, and whipped cream.

Halloween was the holiday that made everyone in my family actually interact with each other.

Last time I was stuck taking kids trick-or-treating... this time I am going to have a gore movie fest. I can't wait.

It's not just the family, it's the whole country...cause it's pretty weird celebrating and partying when the next day is the day of the dead, where we're supposed to be mourning...

Haha, yeah, probably. Maybe not. There should've been a maybe choice.
I'm not going trick-or-treating though, did that last year and all the old ladies kept saying I was too old! I thought I looked like i was 11 or something, guess not, haha.
Well, I might, but I'm gonna be going to a huge huge spirit week football game on halloween, so maybe not.

I can't go trick-or-treating this year again! cry
last year I couldn't go because I had a rehearsal ( 6-9p.m), but the whole band went "trunk-or-treating" in the parking lot. This year I can't go either because we have a home football game that we have to perform at...so my halloween costume is going to be dressed as a band student <-- you can't get scarier than that bigrazz

I have only ever went trick or treating only once in my life. my parents were so freaked about stuff in candy. So after that It was only parties. once I reach the age of 12 I kind of lost interest in dressing up and party bags was kinda blah. So now its just the end of the month to me. bigrazz roll

Lately dressing up for halloween's becoming a trend too where I live...No trick or treats but people go to pubs, halloween themed parties,etc...I never go to one...they bore me...I'm getting old none

My friend's been convincing me for years to go out with them during halloween...but I'm never in the mood. Anyway, I was showing and asking her how my skirt and faux fur lined coat fits me when while looking at me she suddenly blurted out: "Oh,you can dress up as a hooker!" none

Emm...okay,she can be sure as hell that I won't dress up this halloween dead
