Okay, so I change my hair quite drastically, I've had a lot of haircuts myself

and I wonder, what your haircuts are. Or what you favourite or most ugly or most drastic haircuts you have had are.

For me, I've had purple hair..that looked pink..that I made a weird red colour.

And now I've got a nice short cut in a colour that is somewhat my own.

For my favourite cuts, it's this one and my "when I was little" long curly blond hair ;D

Now, it's your turn

Age 5 - 12:
Shaven with a number one blade, i.e. thinnest layer of hair possible on my head without being bald, hahaha.

Age 13 - 17:
Pudding-bowl style haircut with long flicks at the beck of my neck. It was greasy and extremely hard to keep, no idea why I put up with it for so long.

Age 18 (now):
Simple, tidier and far shorter haircut. Average length, gelled back a little at the front and that's it. Nice and easy to maintain.

When I was a little kid I had short hair (less trouble this way), but all kids from the neighbourhood were mistaking me for a boy and I was getting into a lot of fights, so I insisted that I want to have longer hair (I was about 6 years old).
I had my hair braided for about 5 years and then cut it short again. It was a very drastic change, my friends didn't recognize me and the teachers kept asking if I were a new student, I didn't ever recognize myself in the mirror 🙂
Now my hair is not long, but not very short either. I dye it a chestnut colour because my natural one is not very nice. Once I tried dying it red, but it didn't look very well 🤢

As a kid I had very short hair, as a teen I had average length hair, now my hair is long and it is reaching the middle of my back but I keep it short around the ears and the neck, well sometimes people are mistaking me for a girl but I don't care 🙂

Yaaay! Hair transformations!

Before kindergarten (age 5): typical Asian short hair or slightly past the shoulder for cute pigtails.

**Kindergarten - 8th grade (age 5-14) **: Hair that hit below the ear with/without bangs; though there was this ONE time in 2nd grade (?) where it was short, 90's pixie (which is hideous)... I absolutely hated it because I looked so androgynous!!! But my mom and the school office lady loved it...

**High School (age 15-18) **: Started growing my hair out to mid-back. Had no idea what to do with it, so it was constantly in a pony-tail or up in a clip. Very rarely did I leave it down. By graduation, I cut it to slightly past the shoulder.

Undergraduate years
(age 18-20): I had red-violet highlights (which quickly turned copper/light brown within weeks)... then it turned ugly as my hair was growing out to mid-back (basically, it was black/dark brown near the roots, and it gradually turned light brown near the tip).

(age 20-now): Got tired of it all! Cut it short to a bob (only better looking than my pre-teen years)!!! No hair-coloring! Just natural black / dark brown (I guess my shampoo or exposure to sunlight kills the melanin?) Anyways! Just got a hair-cut again today. Now it's very bobby. looooool. 😃

I am very, VERY tempted on trying out a pixie cut. I made a bet with myself that if I get accepted into professional school, I'm cutting it off for a pixie (not the 90's pixie/short cut)! (I have no idea if it will fit my face though)

When I was little, I had a typical little Asian girl cut... straight bangs with short hair. Later on, my bangs grew out and I had medium-length layered hair... now I have long hair with side-swept bangs.

Up until I was like 18: Typical bowl cut.

After that, the one I currently have.

I tied my hair in ponytails, pigtails, those china-girl bun style, and braided-style all the way up until 6-5th grade. then I cut my hair up to a ear length then grew it back in 7th grade and tied my hair up in a ponytail for 2 years
then cut it short to ear lenght again few years back
and now currently it's at a shoulder length.
my hair tends to grow quickly so I have to cut/trim it again
I've highlighted my hair when I was in ..fourth grade but after that I never tampered with my natural hair color.

Uhm... I'm used to change my hair cut every 4-6 months....
I think right now is my best hair cut, with red highlight (my hair originally black) long back hair with layer cut style, but short at side. well, I cant explain it in better word..... 😛

My favorite haircutting experience was when I did it myself... around the age of 4.

As a kid I had long hair (I was too young to complain and my mother liked it that way)
In school I had short hair most of the time, when I was around 16 years old I had a pony tail until I cut it because it became too much of a hassle...
Now I got a hairband to not have them hang into my eyes and I wonder what I should do with it now.
(Most of the time I go with what's convenient, and not going to the hair salon is pretty convienient for me...)

i have really long hair. i just cut off like 9 inches a few weeks ago and it was still long as hell. the shortest hair ive had was in kindergarten when i had a really short bob. i hated it. my favorite haircut was when i had the long bangs in front and the bob in back. i wanted it to look like my favorite vocaloids hair.

<---current hair (though of course a bit longer)

Long dirty blonde (leaning towards brownish) hair until I was 13, where I cut it to a medium boyish length. Then a few months later the hair cutter gave me a butch hair cut. Then a few more months later I got it pixied even shorter. Then I finally had it buzzed to a half inch from my head. xD Now I'm just letting it just grow back, and currently (at 15) I have cascading poofy hair that rests at my shoulders. I'll get my bangs trimmed soon, as they're in my eyes a lot.
