because lame characters will have training sessions and more problems to encounter which means more chapters for the manga and more money hahaha!! 😃

This doesn't apply to one piece because One Piece > other manga!! yeah!!

C'mon people, we're not talking about having perfect main characters here. We're talking COOL.

List of super cool MCs:

Alucard ~ Hellsing
Kenshin ~ RuroKen
Kyo ~ SDK
Light ~ Death Note
Lelouch ~ Code Geass
Eikichi Onizuka, 22 years old, virgin ~ Great Teacher Onizuka
Kurono Kei ~ Gantz
Sergeant Sosuke Sagara ~ Full Metal Panic
Can I argue Maya as the main character of Tenjho Tenge? Screw blondie
Ikki ~ Air Gear (maybe arguable)
Motoko Kusanagi ~ Ghost in the Shell
I'd say Harima from School Rumble shares half the MC slot, so him
Akumetsu (Shu) ~ Akumetsu

There's lots of super cool main characters. Without fail, in stories with more than one main character, one of them's always badass. Further, there are plenty of series' that focus on badass characters, with the intent of making the audience go, "Whoa, cool!" rather than try to get them to relate to some useless dude. Personally, I prefer that approach, because it seems more like pure entertainment, and less "even if you suck at life, everything will work out perfect!" wish fulfillment.

wow.. you would fail in any responsibility given..
thats like saying rather then reading the book you just get it off the internet to know what happen in the end.

Cause that way it makes you care about him/her and what him/her to grow stronger, better, ect...

There are cases where the main character is the coolest, but more often your right its someone else. I guess it also helps make other supporting characters more interesting, or else they would all be trivial. Or it could all be a matter of perspective...
