hmm...20 and I've been driving since 15 done more then enough stupid things trying to be like fast and furious..brings back memories... should never try to be like the movies, owell but after you drive for awhile and take people places you start to feel lazy and don't even want to think about driving, but once you get a sports car it starts to be fun again lol.

yup, for quite a while now. I started learning stick shift when I was in Europe, but left to the U.S. before I could legally take lessons. Then, when my parents got a car in the U.S. it was an automatic, so I stuck to that. I was surprised at the driving test (i.e. a 5min ride around the block). Now, when I go back in Europe, I get teased by my friends who drive stick shift like they ride their bikes, and I can't drive a block without stalling. In one way, I guess I avoided the "starting the car on a slope" and "backing up in a tight parking spot" tests 😀

eheh- no. I'm already 15, so I guess I ought to have my permit or be taking lessons or something, but I just haven't had the time lately to worry about it... meh.

yup i can, I've been driving with a license for a year now.. i was late in getting it, because didn't have much time.. i got my license in Moscow and i like driving here, although its sometimes chaotic and dangerous.. at least at nights you can have some time and not worry bout getting ridiculous fines and loosing your license.. im ok as a driver, not awesome.. but still))

i had one crash.. it was on the 31 of December.. i was driving to a house located near the woods, the road was awful and like ice-skating.. breaks didnt really work at all, and even though i was going like 25-30 km/h, on a turn i started my unstoppable glide towards a damn tree..(( but this experience taught me a lot )) i don't think i will make the same mistake again.. ))

Ive been driving for over a year now and I'm licensed to drive a motorcycle too! A stupid thing I did was drive when I hadn't slept in two days and was really sluggish I almost rear ended someone cause of the delayed reflexes 😔

Also I really dislike traffic lights, right of way, and other drivers in general.

If its of any use to you, a good deal of traffic lights are on a pattern. Assuming you're driving down one road with lights at every intersection, If you hit the first one at the right speed and you manage to maintain that speed, you won't even have to slow down.

Myself, since the last time I posted in this thread, i've managed to get a ticket for tailgating, which I totally wasn't. I was at a stop sign and I pulled up too close to the car in front of me. >:-(
and two speeding tickets. One on a 20% downgrade just outside of Needles and another that never got reported to the county. So I guess technically I only have one speeding ticket. Still no accidents. My reckless driver avoidance skills are top notch. 🤣

That only works in the U.S. I believe.

Im 16 so I "should" have my license but I'm to lazy to take the classes and other junk. I'd rather walk or take the bus.

-Not legal to drive, do to medical conditions and medications.
-Driving scares me a bit. People die so often from accidents.
-Even if I were healthy, I'm too oblivious to be a safe driver 🤢
-I prefer to ride my bike. Safer, more enviromental. On sunny days, I walk (riding a bike with an umbrella is rather difficult)

Not all lights are set that way, though, mostly in big cities & in the direction of the majority of traffic. Where I used to live was the largest town/city in the state, and the signals in the downtown area were set to help the flow of traffic in whatever direction most helped the rush hour drivers. Where I live now, they're not timed to each other at all, as far as I can tell...of course, it matters much less since the town is small.

This year I've been able to reduce my driving to only 1-2 days per week, so nice~ 😃

high five Yay for lazyness! Same thing goes for me. I can ride my bike to most of the places I wanna go - in fact, with all the lights and extra turns required for driving vehicles, I can generally get to where ever I'm going faster by biking 😛
