Spore

Anybody like Spore here? I know some reviews said it lacked depth and I've seen a freaking ton of people complain about various things about this game (including its SecuROM), but man, this game is addicting.
(I just got really lazy in designing so many buildings and vehicles, so I chose the default Maxim stuff)

I'm interesting in buying it, but as long as it has SecuROM, I will not. I refuse to buy anything with this fascist copy protection.

Its funny at first me and my bro said we may get it but my brother geeked out and said he is going to buy it. He did the same thing with Grand Theft Auto VI. I hope its fun when I get it and not repetitive.

It has SecuROM?
...I actually intended on playing it, but now that I heard this, I guess I'll pass...my computer is wrecked enough as it is. 🤢

I'm not saying it isn't. But until someone finds a better way, I'm not going to support these methods.
And before you say "Well, if you don't like it, why don't you come up with a better way?" Well, if I could have done that, I'd be rich--which is why I'm not.

I found the space age flawed and the ages before that have about an hour each of game time if you play them several times.
So I spent roughly 10 hours playing this game and find that I had the most fun the first three hours. :/

Well this one was cracked and released prior to the US release of the game, so it doesn't seem to be doing a lot of good. :/
The game is quite shallow and disappointing, though my pc can't run smoothly at top specs so I can't judge it visually. There are quite a few bugs that remove sections of the game which are very annoying. It's not a bad game, but after 3 and a half years I expected a lot more, it's as if they just spent all that time creating things with the editor >_>
- regrettably I didn't hear about it having SecuROM until afterwards
I'm interested in playing Spore, however, I will also not be purchasing it do to my disagreeing with the type of protection they use.
The main reasons people do not like SecuROM can be read here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SecuROM#Controversies
In addition to the reasons explained on that page in regards to Spore, like Mass Effect, Spore has a limited number of activations (three) before you need to get ahold of EA to reset the number.
Instead of Spore, I bought Tales of Vesperia for Xbox 360. I got it last night, but was too tired to start it (That and I am trying to finish Lost Odyssey before I start Tales).

What?...
SecuROM protects the CD/DVD from being copied. Or at least it tries to...
