A thing that pisses me of about this DB action film is that the producers actually thought that ppl are just utter imbeciles that would want to see even crap like that.
Now i WANT to see them go bankrupt, someone must oppose and boicot this film, world-wide, its too indigning.

As an adaptation, it looks pretty horrible. If you forget about the source and take it in as a mindless action flick then it might manage to be slightly entertaining. I won't pay to see it, but maybe a rental.

I don't think this movie ever really stood a chance with the large majority of anime/manga fans anyway as they won't accept an American adaptation just on some sort of principle or whatever. It wasn't made for the fans; it was made to appeal to more mainstream America with the hope that the fans will go see it anyway just out of curiousity if nothing else. And many probably will.

Wow. The car in the movie, is that the same car from the Transformers movie? Shit, I wasn't expecting much when I heard about the movie but I was admittedly hoping that the plot wouldn't change too much. From the looks of the trailer, it seems that changing the plot is all they did. I mean divergences are understandable since they have to pack so much into 1.5 hrs, but wtf is that prophesy shit about?!

I had been waiting for this movie, hoping it would be something like the Ninja Turtles movie or something, thinking I could judge it with that sort of standard in mind, but I don't think I can do that with this one. I bet the dialogue will be so bad... I guess I'll dl it off the internet and watch it. 😐

heard that too, can kind of see it being good. theres apperently an imdb article about cowboy bebop for 2011, but it said needed a pro account(?) to access it
