I see that some people say that cold drinks, and even sucking on ice are helpfull.
Well, it makes me more sick.

Maybe because it lowers the temperature inside the throat, making it easier for the sickness to spread.

I have read some things that say cold drinks can make a sore throat feel worse and cold fluids can stress the digestive system, but I haven't found anything that says it makes the infection worse. I do find that if I have a cold, I feel better when I am warm though.
