I still keep drinking cold beverages nonetheless. Sure, I'll cough like heck, but warm drinks just doesn't quench my thirst 🙄 . cough

I'm with the other people who, until reading this thread, had no clue that drinking cold drinks with a cold was considered wrong.

I could care less, I drink what I want, I just hotter more often when I'm sick. Plus I think that "don't drink cold stuff" thing is a wives tale.

I don't. My body's cold enough for me to abhor cold beverages when I have a cold. Hot green tea FTW!

Eh. I try avoiding cold beverages while I'm sick, since it gets me all nasal-y and whatnot, but I find it hard to not drink ice-cold beverages. They always seem to taste better when I'm sick than they do when I'm not.

Lunch Lady: Would you like a cheese sandwich?
Me: No, I can't eat cheese; I'm lactose-intolerant.
Lunch Lady: Oh, then would you like some milk?
Me: .....no?

I'm too tired to get up from the bed to get a drink, but if I had to choose, then it'd probably be a yes

ONE ONLY FEELS THE NEED TO DRINK COLD WATER IF ONE BELIEVES SO IN ONE'S MIND.

therefore, if one does not believe cold water is necessary, and goes as far as to even bend their thinking into cold water being disgusting and nasty, than no more urge exists.

simply think you hate cold water and you will hate it.

Well when im sick i usually only get sick for like 2 days but in that time its like a freezing hell! I start to shiver like crazy and like its like 90+ degrees in ym room and i have a blanket and im still cold! But in the end i dont really give a S*ht and do w.e. SO CHUG CHUG CHUG CHUG YAY COLD DRINKS!!!!!!!! 😀

my eating/drinking habits never change, regardless of how ill i am

i don't really care about the state of my body, when i consume things.

Plus, i rarely get sick, so it doesn't matter.

yeah i myself like to drink cold drinks applejuice good for my health when sick but THEY always force me too drink tea whitout sugar 😲
