I've just been a bit curious as to the windows and tabs usage from other members on the forum.

Now, this could be how many you have open right now, or you can take this poll as your general windows/tabs utilization.

For me, right now I have 4 windows with about 70-ish tabs open, but generally I have maybe 1 or 2 windows open with 20 tabs.

Also, I was planning on using relative terms such as: a few and a lot (for aesthetics and a condensed poll), but they were inherently unreliable; so, I opted for a more thorough and numerical poll.

Edit: If you'd like, you can state what browser you are using in your post. Of course, if you have multiple browsers open at the same time, please state this (like FF and IE both have 2 windows open and each has 10 tabs each would go under 2-5 windows with 16-50 tabs) This kind of information would also be very interesting to find out, but that would make the poll very large; so, it can only be let known by posting.

Right now I have 1 window with 30+ tabs, with at least one tab always open to MangaUpdates. 🤣

Btw, what web browser do you often use? I use Chrome, but it crashes a lot...Other browsers are just painfully slow...

Well right now I only have one window with one tab, but that's because I just went on the internet. Usually I have around 4 to 5 tabs open on one window when I'm in the midst of surfing.

I hate having lots of windows and tabs. It gets messy.

Well right now I have one window with three tabs. I dislike having more than five tabs open because if I have more than that I feel like it's cluttered.

I have 1 window and 18 tabs opened. I use Firefox.

I hate having more than 1 window open. So it's option two for me, since I have one window and a max of about 6 tabs. Any more than that and the browser starts acting up.
I use Firefox, by the way. Google Chrome was rumoured to be good but I tried it out and found that is sucks - and IE is just too old-fashioned.
And, like some other people mentioned; MU is always on an open tab 🙂

I never open more than one window. I usually have around 5 tabs open, though they can range from that to about 30 /when downloading wallpapers and such, for example/
At the moment I have one window and 6 tabs open.
I use Firefox and sometimes /only for a few sites that load awfully slow in FF/ - Opera.

I usually have one window with multiple tabs. For the tabs, they usually never pass 10. Idk, I just never opened that many tabs at a time.

21 tabs. 1 Window.... for now.
I can get up to 7 windows and who knows how many tabs each.... but I'm trying to break that habit.

Well, most of the tabs are from a video-sharing site... and tvtropes... so, it's more like I open a new tab if I'm straying too far on a tangent with the potential of losing track of the original purpose (there's only so many pages firefox remembers... I think it's 50... which I have done that before).

I guess it would be good to state which browser you use in the post... to give a bit of a reference point.

Mines Firefox/3.6.8 right now by the way, which is changing to Firefox/3.6.9 when I finish with all but one video-sharing site (it's unpleasant to restart a browser with 20 videos starting at once).

1 window, 71 tabs currently open - and this is on a good day.
A few weeks back, it was over 100 tabs.
I only close tabs which I know I won't be needed for a long while. Otherwise, they stay there till I close them.

i have 13 instances of firefox, with at least 1200 tabs total. some windows have only 1, some have 300+

i usually i have about 3-4 tabs open at all times (i use Firefox) but my computer has been as slow as a turtle the week and its literally killing me 🤢
