woah da ja vu me and dr.love had this discussion already and Dr. love proved me wrong it turns out that zarakis sword is always released as it states in the data books why im not so sure of i highly doubt that its because of the immense spiritual pressure cause as ishin stated captains control their spiritual pressure and compact it into their small swords if not every captain would have huge swords

k i hate Kenpachi now, cause if his only attack was to swing his sword around the whole series then he's really boring compared to every1 else -_-

But that is basically his purpose. To be the total badass who is just so powerful he doesnt need the flashy stuff to rip people to shreds.

c'mon, you have to admit that bankai or no bankai, ken-chan still manages to be totally awesome.

Why is it that people think kenpachi's final arsenal is his dual hand slash?
He still has bankai and his zanpakuto attacks to go.
All this means is that it'll be a bit longer to wait for the name and bankai, but he's still kicking ass without them.
The way he's going right now it seems like he can be even stronger, even without bankai.

Though I'm thinking he might end up staying as the exception character in the series, where he can fight bankais without having one himself...

He already is the exception character you describe. It just seems that a lot of people from the Bleach fandom want him to be stronger than he is right now, which would mean bankai, which also twists the perception so that it seems like he has one but hasn't used it yet.

I liked the chapter. Zaraki was always portrayed as the brawler type. It was cool for Kubo to show that Zaraki can be a guy who has a "method in his madness," so-to-speak, instead of just a crazy strong guy with a sword. Kind of interesting to note that some people's reaction to Zaraki's ace is similar to Nnoitra's reaction.

He's right though. Kenpachi is in shikai... Ichigo and Yoruichi had that conversation when Ichigo was training to get bankai.

Nnoitora has some patience issues. And once again, I began to hope that we'll see Yachiru fight after Zaraki's comment, but hell no. He just has to be teh munchkin. Well, I guess 'cause he is the badass one. Hope this won't get boring~
