I still strongly lean towards cake. Some pies are amazingly delicious, but they fall apart and flop all over the place. I'll stay with cakes for the cakey spongy texture. :3

I picked pie because there was no both option, but really, even if there wasn't a both option, there should've been a piecake option. I'll always vote for piecake.

I'd pick the best cake over the best pie, but I think I'd pick an average pie over an average cake. I think cakes have more range in terms of quality.

Meat pies are nice, but sweet pies... 😐 And since the comparison is to cake, I'm going to assume the poll is considering the latter.

So cake it is! Though all in all I prefer ice cream, chocolate, brownies, etc. Cake's so difficult to get just right, but if made well it can be divine.

I'm afraid of meatpies because of this Hollywood movie titled "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street". 🤢 🤢 🤢

The plot kinda goes like this:
Sweeney Todd, an English barber and serial killer murders his customers with a straight razor and, with the help of his accomplice, Mrs. Lovett, processes their corpses into meat pies. 😲 😲

Cake because there is a lot of options compared to pie but I do like a good slice of pie =)

Also people talking about meat pies but isn't it kind of like a pie shape version of empanadas?
