I'm with you on air gear. my other 3 choices would be crossover, mx0 and girls saurus.

my final choice is Ichigo 100%, he should have ended up with aya dammit.

Had he ended up with Aya, there would have been -nothing- in that series to differentiate it from the other 5000 harems. The fact he did something that was realistic and -made sense- was the saving point of the series.

but then many people who are like myself like the fantazy and non-reality of manga

i read it because its different and its a story and i personally love perfect/happy endings

personally the ending of the manga just ruined the series for me ;\

but then again some ppl are just perfer to see more manga being more realistics just as real life ;/

on another note:

  1. ubel blatt - tons of actions and probably get a lot more fans than any other real good shows out there ("real" does not include sell outs like bleach/naruto/rosario anime)

  2. tokyo crazy paradise - this would be so awesome appealign to both shoujo fans and action/romance lovers

  3. skip beat just because i love the manga ;3

  4. ZAN would be a great short series, only 2 volumes of the manga but its still really good

  5. Dual Arts - only 3 chapters are out but its really interesting ;p for some reason it reminds me of d. gray man

6 (yes i know its 5 but i want more ;<) kurohime; nuff said, fanservice and would love to see and hear the main female protagonist haha

  1. kurozakuro very interesting manga, just doesnt seem too popular because its one of those ;/

  2. kurosagi swindling xD they did wonderful with neuro, this should be doable hehe

revisions-
besides all the other ones the other ppl mentioned

shaman king is a must...the story takes a totally different twist and the ending in the anime is far inferior than the manga storyline

full metal alchemist, awesome serires but same as shaman king, the anime storyline pales when compared to the greatness of the manga

Dual Arts and Kurosagi would be good choices, expecally Kurosagi because it has 16 volumes out. But how does Dual Arts remind you of D.Gray Man

This is a repeater I think 🙄

I'm pretty sure it is, too, but I cannot find the old topic.

Also, moved to the proper forum.

Manga topics do not go in Gen chat.

  1. Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad, season 2. I want to listen to Baby Star and Devil's Way instead of just read about it. The original was awesome, but I'd want the right names in there. (ie The beatles instead of the rocket boys, the right title names like Tabasco and Human Fly, etc.)

  2. Gunslinger Girl, Season 2. I want the original team back on that instead if the current team, since the art was just plain better. Henrietta and Jose just look wierd....

  3. Blade of the Immortal. It would be just plain awesome. Though I must admit that visualizing BotI as an anime is quite difficult because of the art style...

  4. FMA. Get rid of that ending and continue on with the storyline in the manga.
I'll save my 5th spot for when I watch more anime.

@true_grave_unit

Actually, Blade of the Immortal is getting animated, coming out on the summer season. How that converts to animation though, that's a whole nother story. Lots of disappointments these last several years.

whoa, thanks for the info. AnimeNewsNetwork says it is released in the summer (whenever that is). But it's an anime that I would want perfection for, and nothing less. The image they have at animenewsnetwork.com doesn't exactly seem to resemble the gritty art work that is distinctive of Hiroaki Samura's artwork in BotI. And the anime I've seen Bee Train (the animation company) work on (Noir, Honey and Clover, .hack series, and R.O.D. TV) didn't have any hints of "gritty" art work. I'll wait til I see a trailer or the series pilot until I give a verdict though

I'd like:

  1. Shinshi Doumei Cross
  2. La Corda D'oro season 2
  3. Full House Kiss
  4. Kaichou wa Maid-sama
  5. when Matsuri Hino finishes Vampire Knight it should be made into an anime, other than the 26 episodes that are being made now, so maybe like a season 2

I just like those series! 😀

Lol, looks like you're getting "nothing else." The thing is, when I saw this on the list for the summer, I was more pessimistic with the idea. I just don't see a decent conversion for this manga since animation can't replicate the style or even the black-and-white aesthetic that's perfect for Blade. Unless they do the tv series in black-and-white, that's almost similar to those old samurai movies, then bleh. And with that pic from ANN, I'm already disappointed (bee train's animating it, that is just horrible).

@shi666san

don't know much about the other series you listed, but I like your choice for #2, definitely felt like it needed more.

heart briefly stops this could be perfect if they get the art style dead on. odds are they won't because it would be beyond expensive, but i can hope right?
