Yup.
Mom got divorced when I was still in school.... which was actually a good thing for me and my younger sister.... coz the only memory I have of my dad is of him being a useless fucking bastard.

But to be honest, there has always been a boy friend or a step father, so I don't know if that counts.

That doesn't count in my book.

I guess you're right, its not technically single. At least not most of the time.

No, I meant that doesn't count as a father, so it does count as a single parent home.

Does that make sense?

single parent home right here. mom got divorced when i was around 1 because dad was a cheating douche. grew up surrounded by aunts and uncles so it's all good.

the whole things given me a rough mindset on infidelity though, if they can't keep it in their pants they can have fun alone

No, I have both parents. Though they always work and are hardly home...I was pretty much raised by my grandparents.

I grew up with both parents. My parents have been together for over twenty-five years now and still get along fine. I guess I'm just lucky in that regard.

I guess I'll just label myself as having two parents - or being raised by two parental figures, whichever.

Only for 'bout a year or so, after my parents divorced.
Then mom got a new man, thus I'll have to vote no.

My parents got divorced when I was 12, but my mom only moved like a mile away. I lived with my dad but I visited my mom a lot. My dad got remarried after about 5 years, but my stepmom and I never really got along well and then I moved out to go to college.

Just me and my mom since I was born. I've been wanting her to get a boyfriend for a while now that I'm leaving for college in less than a year. It will feel kind of weird leaving the person who raised you all alone for your whole life. But then, I really did not want to stay in the city.

In any case, I thank her for raising me in the best way possible since I never ended up in a gang, or smoke or drank, or got preggers. 🤣
