Single Parent Homes.

Well my parents have divorced when I was an infant and I also do not know my father...
I was growing up with my mother and my grandparents - my mother was only 18 and was just ending high school.
Well she got remarried when I was 8. Unfortunately I do not get along with my stepfather and I really miss times when we were alone... 😐

My parents are still together and have been married for over 25 years. All of my aunts and uncles are approaching 20 years of marriage and my grandparents have been married for 50+ years (such a long time). I hope I can have a long-lasting relationship like this.

My family is single parent orientated.
My dad died when I was 14 and my mom's remained unmarried for seven years already. It's kinda sad to see how my mom tried so hard to keep the family together when he died. But my life was better off without my dad.
I don't live with my family now, but I love my mom more than anythingelse in the world..

I'm lucky for having such great parents and people, yet I still want more...so greedy
Lalala~
Polite bump.
Whoa, 42% of the people that voted grew up with only one parent. So sad that it happens more often nowadays. : x Not that they're less fortunate, by any means. You can be perfectly happy with just one parent. :] Also, family shouldn't be restricted by just blood. You'll find a father/mother figure in someone, even if you don't have them.

Was double parent until I was 10 yrs old, but I don't really remember those years, so I'm going to say single parent- my mother. And I really have no complains because she gave me everything I ever wanted and more. :3
Even though my mother has remarried I don't really think I'll be able to experience a household with two parents since come the new year I'll be moving away. =/

My parents have been married for like... 28 years.
It was funny though. Originally my dad didn't want to get married to my mom (He liked her and everything.. just didn't want to commit), so she stalked him (Leaving letters on his car window, ect), until he finally relented.
Does the walker choose the path, or the path the walker?
