Well I think most of the questions have been answered. (Of course not by Kubo, but through informed readers)
Tousen looks like that (1) b/c his resureccion's name is "chirping cricket" (or something like that) and (2) b/c this whole time everyone including us thought that Tousen was this "good character who wanted a path of justice w/ little bloodshed. But, actually, he's an ugly hate monger who's so bent on revenge and "true justice" that he forgot his original goal and motivation (as evidenced by the last few lines he said)
Also, as someone mentioned before, Tousen got his hollow powers from the hogyokku (however you spell it 😕 ) so he didn't really have to train like Ichigo and the Vizards.
Finally, about the Hisagi pwnage. I like Hisagi and he had a unique relationship w/ Tousen so it was a nice way to end it. But I digress, Tousen was gearing up for a double cero, which leaves him wide open, in addition to the fact that Tousen had earlier mentioned that he lets his guard down around Hisagi too often.
Of course Kubo probably just leaves these things this vague so fanboys like me will try to make excuses. -_-

The most important thing is that you are aware of this. 😀
Ahhh damn Kubo, using his fanboys army to cover his plotholes 😔
I call for a class action against fanboy-exploitment XD

That's known as a "coin".
Oh, thanks. Too much D&D.
Kubo is trying to rush it. 😐
Isn't Tousen to be super strong? Stronger than all Espada? Or were we just wrong in that assumption? Since Tite never directly stated he was stronger than them. We just assumed that ever since he cut off Grimmjaw's arm and because he's always tagging along with Aizen. I suppose the stronger Espada didn't attack him, because they had Aizen to worry about. If so, then this fight made some sense? Tite is horrible at maintaining power levels though... but well, you never know how a battle will end. The power level isn't the only factor.
Just blame Tite's crappy writing. :/
Anywho, I bet now Aizen will turn his back to Tousen as well? And I also read this rumor that Aizen isn't even the main antagonist? Since Kubo's rushing this and there are still lots of things to be explained. I hope Aizen will do his "JUST AS PLANNED" poses. 🤣 And be victorious. I don't want Ichigo to win, he suuuuucks. : x

I enjoyed the episode. I'm glad to see Tousen's "justice" revealed for the selfishness that it was. Also, I can appreciate a lower-powered hustling character taking advantage of an overconfident inattentive blowhard. Wonder what Gin's resurection form will be -- a slimy eel perhaps?

One more thing about this mockery of a chapter. Kubo screwed up with Tousen's character. Whether we liked him or not, Tousen was the most complex character in the series because he seemed like a good guy who only joined Aizen because it seemed like the path of justice. After this chapter, he's now simply an evil, selfish, psycho. With a cast of characters as weak as Bleach's, Kubo needed to milk this character for as long as possible.
