Yea mistake on my part.

I disagree, even though this already got moved to the general section. The usual tropes in shounen are hyperactive or silent (Naruto sort of highlights this) and seinen has a lot of ronins and otaku. (And the painfully unexperienced shows up too, but he's all types.)
I just don't think that the playboy's anywhere near as common in shounen/seinen as he is in shoujo.

for one, "ronins and otaku" aren't under my definition of "bishielicious and every girl has the hots for". Thus killing them off the poll possibility [as I'm trying to not be biased...]. NOT COUNTING HAREMS. That shit's just mad.

Notice how I said "quiet guy". Ronins and otaku certainly aren't quiet, and they certainly want some loving - but no one wants to give it to them. :'D

Also, playboy is in shoujos... lots of it... 🤢 ; Lotsssssssss of it. >_>;

I prefer both kinds of guys, but in manga I like it more to read about a playboy who can get every girl he wants and a shy girl who would be happy if only one guy would show interest.
But stories about two alpha-people are great!!!
