That's only 8 though I haven't read to the latest chapter yet so maybe there is a "for sure" future crew member already decided. If you want, however, you can count Going Merry/Thousand Sunny and possible the princess(forgot her name).

So the next thing would probably be:

Thief/Spy - For all their money needs and info

Water creature of some sort - Probably to aid in battle and water stuff

Flying Creature - It can fly, making it easier to access places

Alchemist/Chemist - For more explosions and to add to the straw hat's abilities with potions and stuff

Smoker - Since he's awesome but I highly doubt that

Monk - Probably good at heart but corrupted who is also a devil fruit user(think anti-hero)

Tactician - Straw hats would be more powerful with a plan, this guy has to be a decent fighter though.

Though interesting additions, I would probably want to see a puppeteer join. Because we already saw a girl who was a painter and she was bad, Mr 3's partner. Then magicians are kinda useless since a lot of people have devil fruit powers. And the rest feel out of place.

i chose Painter/Artist probably bcos i was thinking he'll be the one who always thinks he's the greatest at painting and all and even show off his ability to luffy's crew.. he'll probably say to luffy, chopper and usopp that they are not worthy and all.. i'm sure it's going to be funny.. but he's fighting skill is unknown.. 🤣 🤢 🙁 😁 🙂 >:-( 😲 a few faces there!

as for who i think will join. i think it will be someone like tsunade from naruto, not the godly healer part but the female who loves to gamble and uses her fists to fight type (dont know what her job would be). this or a loli puppateer as the sail and rigging upkeeper person

anyways i know the next one to join will be a girl like the last 2 were guys and i think the author would tak this chance of getting another girl in but its most likely going to happen after this arc

i agree it's highly likely the next member might be female. well more like i'm hoping it is, cause there's a lot of dudes in that ship. 🤣 as for what position it'll be well..... i assume it'd be along the lines of a fisherman possibly. which leads me to wonder about Hachi and Camie. it's not impossible for two people to join up at the same time. and they really would be helpful with all the hammers they have on board.

What I really think is that a member of another crew, most likely a mean bloodthirsty one will switch sides to luffy's.
