I'd rather Luffy keep a small pirate crew. I don't want the manga/anime to branch off even more during epic fights... I don't want to wait a whole year for one big fight as it shows everyone's moves.

However, I definitely think that Luffy has a lot of friends all over. All the people he has helped so far would probably come to his aid if he gets caught or something and is put up for execution.

Yeah I know Robin is a badass, calm and serious but she is a girl and has her feminine side. The group needs a male badass with an urge to kill to heat up things in OP.

I think jimbie will be mostly likely the candidate for that. for the past few chapter jimbie look like very serious character, a fishman, and of course a shichibukai means strong and i think he has a vast knowledge in the new world and marines

but a logia user hmmm other peps is also looking forward in seeing a new crew member w/ the power like that, and if really luffy recruit a logia i guess it has to be a somewhat newbie about his/her power making it not too strong but not too weak like working in progress 😁

Mr. 2 isn't just a kicker, I think he uses his hands (and eyelashes) too? Besides, he has a DF ability. I don't think his fighting style is very similar to Sanji. Much like Brooke and Zoro, even if they're both swordsmen, they have distinct styles.

And I prefer Luffy's crew to be small too... I think they would lose their charm if it's like Whitebeard's. Too many characters to focus on too.

Sanji learned a lot of new moves, I bet Bon-chan did too. Of course it's bound to have similarities... kicking is their main fighting technique. All I'm saying is that it's different enough that they still retain their unique characteristics. You wouldn't confuse one with another.

I think it's not boring to have both of them in the same crew. Besides, it's not like that's the only thing they contribute to the crew.

But then again... with Oda, we're never sure who's going to join until they join.

Huh..Maybe someone from Fishmen Island? Some sort of mer-person. I don't think it would be Caimie or Hacchi but someone new. I'm not sure what profession they would have...Maybe a comedian of some sort? Probably one with a terrible sense of humor. 🤣

This time it is very difficult to predict I think. Maybe there won`t be anyone to join or it will be a fishmen or some funny guy. I dunno really about Mr2. He might show up in the last time and it would be really funny to have an Okama in the crew ^o^

I think a really freakishly overpowered mysterious man will join the crew on his whim. He is so fucking unbelievable strong, much much stronger then all of the crew combined. But soon he gets bored and leaves the ship to join a new more powerfull crew. This crew will be the badass antagonist in the new world and they also want to have one piece.
In the last vol. both crews will crash. Luffy kills all of them - obtains One Piece und then we get to see the future of the Strawhat Pirates. tadah

No more crew members please! Haven't been overly impressed with the latest additions to be honest. The original 5 were the best. The move to 7 was needed in order to add: a girl pal for nami, and a fresh comedic element. I liked the group of 7 as well, but while I like the two latest additions as characters, I don't like them as strawhat crew members.

Personally, I just don't think the last 2 have enough "juice" to stay as central characters, and that's why I don't like them within the "crew". Maybe their roles will improve with time, which would be great. That's why I believe there shouldn't be another addition before number 8 and 9 have cemented their status as main characters.

Finally, if a new crew member is really really needed, then please make it somebody insanely strong, with a logia ability or something of the sort! Hell, add Crocodile, that would get things rolling.

Another girl. Maybe someone WITHOUT BIG BOOBS. Womanizing crap... XD A girl who's really strong and independent, but also has a sweet side. Maybe a girl who can sing...? A girl who's songs go well with music by Brook. :3

You guys have forgotten what the crew desperatly needs......SOMEONE TO CLEAN THE SHIP!!!! Check this out, a girl from an indian tribe who is strict about cleaning, her entire family died when she was 5 because of illness that would be the reason.But that's not the best part, while cleaning one day she found a fruit lying on deck and ate it. THE WIND FRUIT!!!!She would beat somebody to a pulp for trying to touch the people she cares about without making contact(Did I mention she doesn't like germs)!!! She never laughs and then luffy comes along to make her smile.
