This week's poll was suggested by Transdude1996. Of the series you're presently consuming, are you mostly keeping up with new releases? Or are you binging series that have already been completed?
You can submit poll ideas here

Previous Poll Results:
Question: Should an artist's scandals and/or controversies change opinions about their works (e.g., Bill Cosby, Michael Jackson, Tatsuya Matsuki, Nobuhiro Watsuki)?
Choices:
No, the key to art is how it affects those experiencing it so it's separate from the artist - votes: 1966 (66.6%)
Yes, art is an expression of the individual so who they are and what they do matters - votes: 985 (33.4%)
There were 2951 total votes.
The poll ended: October 23rd 2021
I'm tempted to do a poll about cancel culture

For reference, Naruto and Bleach are old enough to drink now. I did not take that consideration when making the suggestion because my conception of "old" was Outlanders, Hokuto no Ken, City Hunter, and Ranma 1/2.

Brand new and just released as I don't have a backlog.
I also read EU/US comics and am a librarian.

If you actually plan on doing say, may I recommend that you actually define what "cancel culture" is for the purposes of the poll. I originally thought it referred to moral busybodies taking times out their life to ruin someone else's (A malicious action), but the term seems to have extended to referring to any criticism directed toward a person (A vocal action), or even just deciding that people don't want to support the person and proceed to not buy/support their products (A passive action).

I chose "Recent but a bit older (a few months to a year)". Since I generally wait until a manga is finished before starting it these days. I dislike reading reading weekly or monthly releases after picking up a few manga that lasted multiple years and ended up on hiatus. So I generally bookmark interesting manga and try to keep tabs on if they finish. My choice is also in the middle since the beginning of a manga could be old but the end could be brand new.

I do the exact same thing--I hate waiting for chapters to come out, so my wishlist is mostly ongoing manga waiting to be completed before I start reading. Although sometimes I get impatient, read the available chapters, and then I have to sit and wait for the rest to come out before continuing... 😔

For this poll, my answer is "Recent but a bit older (a few months to a year)". More chapters to read for me to decide if I would put it on my reading list or not.
Sometimes I re-read Full Metal Alchemist from time to time. But I actually wouldn't read old series that haven't ended or on a long hiatus, like One Peace. I've dropped D.Gray-Man, Hunter X Hunter, and Glass Mask for a while now. (Sometimes I re-read Detective Conan from the old volumes that I collected, but I didn't follow up to the latest chapters.)
PS
By the way, that poll on cancel culture seems interesting. Personally, sometimes I feel uncomfortable when it goes to certain extend, but it's indeed an interesting phenomenon.

Except for a few series I read on release or on the month of release+- .I'm usually binge reading random stuff. I check out the last chapter and then read them from the start and then add them to reading or unfinished lists.
Since I've already binged most old seinen, manhuas,... I rarely come across an unread one that was finished many years ago unless I'm re-reading.

Most of what I read are series from the 80s or 90s, so "old" I guess?
Although, if scanlations are coming out I'll sometimes read them as they release...
Still, I prefer to read something after a lot of chapters have come out, as I like to read something at my own pace instead of waiting for releases.

I didn't vote.
There should be an option that says don't care.
