lol i think you are one of the exceptions there. Generally women don't want sex as much as men.

And where did you take that from?
The assumption that women want sex any less than men do is plain wrong.

It's not the gender that decides how much sex you want... It's the individual.

What's the point in foreplay when you can just go straight to the good stuff? 😕

Because without foreplay, the good stuff's not so good for women. Women have to get wet before sex or it just hurts. As for guys, I guess to get hard. You know, foreplay can also be totally psychological so if there's some serious mental preparation then both sexes could just skip the foreplay and go straight to the good stuff.

The women body is a beatiful thing. Enjoy it. Explore it. And "the good stuff" will be much better if you can get her excited.

If you simply want to ejaculate I suggest you go masturbate instead of having sex. It will be enjoyable to you and you won't ruin a girls night.

Maybe I am getting involved with the wrong kind of individual then lol my bad. I don't know, I mean i can't back it up from research or anything but like just from the personal experiences of most of my male friends and myself, that seems to be the case. Maybe as women get older that changes?

Foreplay is obviously a good idea but what do you do when you initiate the foreplay, you know like try to start up something and the chick just says "comeon not today, not feeling upto it". Do I have to be more sneaky or something in a way that she doesn't know i want sex lol.

Oh trust me, I have no need nor want to get a woman excited what so ever.

The original question was about how to get someone in the mood. Some people need foreplay for that and some don't. I'm guessing you fall in the 'don't' category, Shaggie. =) However, driving someone wild to the point of begging is often very entertaining as well as arousing.

As Swan pointed out, each individual is different. There are women with voracious libidos, just like there are men with the same. It is a misconception that women peak sexually at a later age though - that we perceive such to be true is more due to social stigmas on women at younger ages.

As for foreplay, you may need to be more subtle. Walking up and kissing her on the neck behind her ear isn't subtle. Playing gently with her hair or stroking between her fingers or on the back of her hand with a finger while you're watching a movie together is. Don't think she won't know that what you really want is sex though. =)

did you know that in the middle ages, women were perceived to be the more sex-craving gender, always wanting it? there were all those stories about witches fornicating with the devil... there's a theory that the "women aren't interested in sex" idea was spread to protect women from sexual assaults (because if you always want it, you can't be forced, right?).

that kind of puts things in perspective, imo. today's image of men and women's sexual hunger may be a little off, too. 😉

I guess it just didn't fit the image of the "lady" to see her as the sexual being she is.

Some men like foreplay more than some women do because it excites them to touch the delicate places of these soft, beautiful creatures. 😉
And yes, it DOES help. Especially if the woman of your interest is not yet into it. If you pay a little attention and do the right things, she will be much more likely to go where you already are.
A win-win situation, right?
It is not always necessary or wanted, though.

To the men:

If you tap a girl's knees, what does it usually mean?

Too little information... Would you care to give more details?

For example (this actually happened to me):

We're in the library and there's this guy who is the same age as me and he kept tapping my knees. What does it mean? Does he like me or what?
