Ask the opposite gender
Is it truly complimenting for a man to call you "hot" or anything relating to it? Something like "you have such a nice ass!".
I won't go further than that, but I think you get the point. I ask because I've seen some of my friends (friendly acquaintances) tell their date (not even their girlfriend yet) that and their reaction be "Aw, you're so sweeeeet!" -_-;;
But I guess they're a different type of women? 🤣 😛

Personally, I think the word "hot" is superficial. I'd prefer pretty or beautiful. but something like "You look really pretty" on a date is nice to say. 😀
On the other hand, I know this girl who's always going on and on about the guys who have called her hot and how nice they are and how much she likes them.
So it really does depend on the girl. But until you know what type of person she is, stick with "pretty."

I have a purely superficial question to the ladies in the crowd.
Who is more attractive, Clint Eastwood(in his prime) or Johnny Depp?

I have the feeling that will be the outcome, but I do have some hope for some of the female members around here.

Obviously Clint. Don't get me wrong, Johnny Depp is quite attractive and, in some of his movies, does have an amazing attitude, which is what causes women to fall for him. But Clint, in his prime at least, wins by a landslide. He's an original, and a truly great actor, and... well... just awesome. How else can I say it? Johnny Depp is a great actor too, but he's not on the same level as Clint. He just... isn't. There's an "it" factor - for lack of a better term - that makes us attracted to good actors, and while Clint and Johnny both have in it spades, Clint has... more spades? Pshaw, you know what I mean, even if I'm not good at articulating it. Point it, Clint wins. Period.

A question for both genders here. I'm pretty sure I've read everything but I apolagize if it's already asked.
If you were to find your friend of the opposite gender taking glances at you as if they had a crush on you(I'm sure I don't need to go into more detail XD) how would you react? Would you feign ignorance? What if the person was an acquaintance? or maybe someone you barely know?
For me (I'm a male), if the person is a friend I would probably feign ignorance at first but eventually depending on if it still persists make some action or do something to confirm if it was a crush and not something else.
if it was an acquaintance or stranger I'll just feign ignorance and maybe look at the stranger weirdly after a while.
p.s. when i say a friend I mean a good friend. 😀

Still Depp for me.

Ignore it, and if they persist, cut off all contact with them.
Such things are just annoying.

Same as with the close friend. Only this time I would chew them out as well.

No sugar for you? It's alright, you're still young.

Oh God. It's painful either way, which I can say from having experienced it multiple times. If you feign ignorance, it'll drive you nuts after a while, along with all your other friends. If you go along with it, chances are you're just doing it to make the painful awkwardness stop, which means that there's no real romantic feeling there on your part, which makes it just as painful for you. Either way, it sucks. Ergo, I kind of agree with Dragonfiremule. Only kind of, though, because sooner or later they sometimes forcibly get over it. But still, it's one of the most annoying things I've ever had to deal with, even moreso when said person is in a relationship at the time...

I had a friend that I met pretty recently doing this to me, I ended up ignoring him for a month and he's all better now.
back in high school thought I had a friend who liked me. he was fairly obvious so it wasn't really a question of whether or not he had a crush. At some points I may even have been on the edge of acknowledging his feelings for me in a joking manner in group of people, but other then that I completely ignored the situation. At some points I even avoided him.
I think both Eastwood and Depp are not really my type of man (why are some many people soooo attracted to them)
Sorry for being incoherent

I would feign ignorance either way. Honestly, I probably wouldn't even notice those glances in the first place.
