Personally I like the quiet type since I'm an introvert but I think that every girl has both an outgoing side and a shy side. I don't really care if she wears makeup or not, it's her choice, but when you're applying tonnes of makeup on your face to the point that you look like a clown then its gets freaky there.

Shy is quite nice, but there is a limit, for me at least. I like it if something is troubling to her and she comes to me. To not say anything makes me feel like I am not capable of helping her.

On the other side, to bold doesn't site right with me either. Being obnoxious is something I'm not really keen for. Being talkative and speaking up when need be is something that really keep a relationship strong. Also, if your going to complain about every little thing, that's not something a guy would look for (at least that I know of).
So for a shy girl, I'd like if she said when it was needed. Doesn't have to speak all the time, just to know I can be of help. For a bold girl, talking is great and all, but excessive isn't good.

Makeup. I'm sure I've said this before, but the less the better. Lipstick eyeliner(very iffy one) and nails is all that should be used. Even then there are people who look better without it. Always pick up cream where makeup could be used instead. 😃

The answer to this question would change every time you ask a guy, so I will try to be more general

Guys are hunters by nature, we don't enjoy when is the other way around, I mean if the girls likes you, and is doing some little things in order to attract your attention then you normally think she is cute and be interested with her, but when she is obviously holding a rifle and shooting at you because you are some kind of price... well normal guys don't like that (even thought that is the exact way most of us act when we see a good girl/woman)

in the end I would say a mix of both of them, if a talkative and expressive girl shows her shy side only to you, you will likely be smitten by it, and if a shy girl is only expressive to you, then the same thing would happen, just as any girl likes to feel special, most guys like that feeling, even if we don't say it upfront. If you can be somewhat shy about certain things and expressive when the situation calls it, then you are likely to never fail in your love conquest... then again the human being is strange and not everything can be measured with the same rule 🙂

PS: Physical appearance helps the first impression, but after that everything is a matter of personality 😃

I like intelligent girls. Both of these choices don't sound like they've got too much in the brains department. So, none of the above.

P.S. Chao might like shy, useless girls who try to be cute to get a guys attention, but I find them annoying.

I personally think its a bit of both. I like it when a girl is expressive, loud and fun sometimes. When you don't have to try out everything of the girl. But other times being shy is so cute. Not to mention when you can get a girl to express something to you that they normally would be too shy about to say. I guess that's part of the challenge so many guys like. To put it simply, its complicated, like everything in life. There is never gonna be one specific set of characters some one is going to like. A lot of the time you end up falling for someone completely opposite of what you think you'd like.

About if there is a problem, I want to know. Too many things end badly because you person did not communicate the problem, and it snow balled either in life or in the person's head until you couldn't fix it. Communication is always good.

Make-up, when you get to that part where you can noteice it, and a lot of it, its far too much. In my opinion, less is better.

Hmmm, I like open and bold girls alot, but shyness has always been a plus as well.

So i guess in the middle would be good.

and as far as make up goes, i despise makeup.

Intelligence doesn't have much to do with personality (they influence each other, but are not completely dependent of each other), a person can be very shy and be very intelligent and a person can be very talkative and be smart.

Not many guys like swallow girls that lack not only in personality but also in braincells

A very proactive girl has a lot of energy and if used well, said girl will end learning about a lot of things >_>

Intelligence has an influence in the personality (or the other way around 😃 ) but are not completely dependable of each other.
