Any manga like Torokeru You na Kiss wo Kanadete where the boy dumps the girl because he thinks its better for her, so she could change . Also are there any manga where the boy dumps the girl because he thinks its for the best but instead of helping her it doesnt. The boy makes it worse. 😕

well hmm.. i think it happens in Kare wa Tomodachi and also in later chapters of kyou, koi wo hajimemasu

Oh and there is also Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sasagu where its sort of obvious that they like each other but due to his illness he rejects her.. it still has the whole feel of thinking it better for her. Lol dunno if its what you want but hope it helps 😀
