In response to the Sleep Paralysis (link it yourself lol) thread I was wondering how many people sleep talk? And, what are some of the craziest things you've said?

I sleep talk all the time. It can drive my friends crazy at sleepovers. Here's some things I've said:

-I sang the meow mix song HERE
-I've sat up and screamed "NO NOAH DON'T!"
-I've spoken in a foreign language that sounded real (Intonation ect)
-I was in a bed with a girl and a guy and the guy was on the other side and I was like "Stop IT! Don't touch me... we'll talk about it in the morning." XD
-Had random conversations.

Fun fact: When you sleep talk or sleep walk you aren't dreaming. During REM your body is paralyzed. (Sleep paralysis is when your mind wakes up during REM)

NOW YOU n_n

My sister swears she's heard me talk while I sleep and so have my parents so I guess I do sleep talk 😲 I know I used to sleep walk but now it's switched on over to sleep talking.

I used to when I was younger and it scared the crap out of me because I was always afraid I would say something I wanted to keep secret

Yes. My roommate told me that I screamed "Get the f*** away from me" in my sleep once.
Fun times.

I don't, but my mother did when I was younger. She could hold an entire conversation in her sleep, and not remember a thing about it once she actually wakes up.

When I try to sleep talk... I immediately wake up. So I've never formed a sentence XD. But on the other hand, my sister can read a whole essay and still stay asleep. She's the type who'll sleep through the Apocalypse. Lol. She even responds with weird answers! Ah, so entertaining!

My mother has told me that I did that a lot when I was younger. O_O I don't believe her...<-<

As far as I know, I don't just randomly start talking while asleep. My college roommate did occasionally, usually one complete sentence and then back to silence.

In college I'd have long phone conversations in the middle of the night with whoever happened to call, and not remember it at all the next day - does that count? 🤣

According to my mom, I've only done it once. And apparently, I was screaming out the title of my favorite TV show and telling "people" to get out of the way cos' I was watching TV.

Not sure how often I do it now... or if at all but 7 years ago when I was in high school/middle school, if I was really tired, I would sometimes fall asleep in the back room and narrate parts of my dream (very embarrassing parts of my dream). I now avoid sleeping in "public" areas.

I've been known to sleep talk... and I'm pretty sure I've done so in a dreaming state at least once (maybe). When I was in high school, I was in the middle of a rather hectic (and enjoyable) dream, when I suddenly found myself transported into an empty wasteland. In the wasteland, I said to myself, "what should I do now?" only to have my mother reply angrily, "What should you do now?! You should wake up, because you're very late! >:-( " Apparently she had been trying to wake me for a few minutes.

Although I suppose that might not have been a true dream state by the time I spoke (not much was happening, after all).
