Because Ps3 atleast have some games , but Ipad is just some useless crap.

computers aren't touch screen and you cant use ipod touch apps

Seems I have to start bashing the Ipad just to make a point. Here are some things the Ipad can’t do:

The Ipad can’t multitask with means no, music and reading at the same time, you can’t have you twitter app and browser open at the same time either. And so on

No camera in it

No HDMI out, so you can’t watch those nice HD videos you downloaded from iTunes on your TV

No flash so be prepared for huge holes in all websites

Adaptors. You’ll need them for everything even USB yep that’s right it doesn’t have USB

Its not widescreen so watching moves on it sucks

It’s got microSIMs so they are trying to bind you to one phone company because no one uses microSIMs this will most likely result in much higher prises for you and everyone else who buy’s Ipad

If you are really that interested in the Ipad then at least wait until some gadget sites have made some reviews about it.

i already knew all this, the only thing that sucks really is no flash

i was prepared for everything else tho

but her since we are on the topic, do you think i should get a multi-touch screen laptop instead

You might as well just get the iPad because it seems like you're trying to defend the iPad and your reasons for getting one more than just seeing what people's advice is on here.

how funny everyone wants the ipad to act like a computer, they negatives they add is that its not like a computer. well its not supposed to be, its just something to carry around and entertain yourself with until you get home to your computer. its up to you what you wants more of the two...

Download the scanlations, and put them on with a usb.
But I guess that would be a little too technical for a apple fanboy. AHAHAHA.

Then why the hell is it so expensive? Get an Ipod touch/phone if you just wanna amuse yourself till you get to your laptop. That reason makes the Ipad really unnecessary.

The ipad looks pretty nice but it probably more worth it to buy it later when it gets cheaper because it just isn't that worth it, i mean its just a bigger screen, plus the bigger the easier to break... (the ps3 is big but it isn't meant to be on the go...) just get a ps3 or even better an xbox360 mainly cus the games on the ps3 are trash, i had a ps3 and i sold it after 3 days i got MAG and a couple of other games like resistance but they weren't good at all specially MAG it was a huge rip off of basically battlefield and COD, only game i liked on it was Soul caliber but thats on the xbox too so no point in going for it on the ps3

Get a PS3 + games.

A newer (hopefully better) ipad will come out in a few months anyways so your old ipad will be obsolete in weeks. PS3 on the other hand will last for a good while for its price.

Then again, it does seem like you're more or less set on getting an ipad for some strange reason, the ps3 has proven to be worth the cost, the ipad not so much . 😐

SO ON APRIL 3RD AT 3PM I ARRIVED AT THE APPLE STORE
BEING ABOUT 70% SURE THAT I WOULD GET AN IPAD

BUT...I DECLINED

I TESTED IT OUT, IT WAS COOL, BUT ALOT OF THINGS THREW ME OFF

1. I WORKED HARD FOR 500$, I REALIZED I COULD GET SO MUCH MORE THINGS WITH THAT

2. THE GRAPHICS FOR SOME APPLICATIONS SUCKED, THEY LOOKED CHOPPY- EWW!!
   :THE GUY TOLD ME YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE IPOD APPS TO BE CONVERTED TO IPAD APPS~ (I JUST ROLLED MY EYES)

3. NO FLASH WASN'T A BIG DEAL AT FIRST, BUT THAN AGAIN IF IM PAYING 500$ FOR A BIG IPOD, THAT SH** BETTER PLAY FLASH!

4. THE EXPENSES OF APPS WILL JUST ADD UP

5. ULTIMATELY, I STARTED LOOKING INTO OTHER MULTI-TOUCH SCREEN LAPTOPS THAT RUN ON WINDOWS, AND SO I THINK IM GOING TO GET AN ALTERNATIVE INSTEAD
   SUCH AS "THE ASUS EEE PC T91"

AS FOR THE PS3, I DECIDED THAT CAN WAIT, IM A STUDENT AND REALLY CANT AFFORD ANY DISTRACTIONS, AND IF I DO NEED TO PLAY GAMES ANYWAY, THE ASUS CAN ACTUALLY PLAY NEW PC GAMES WITH 2 GIGS OF MEMORY RAM, SO I THINK IN THE END I MADE A GOOD DECISION.
