sigh why doesnt this poll have a "Metal" and "Other" option? Because I mostly listen to metal (Black Metal, Folk Metal, Thrash Metal, and abit of Death Metal), and some other stuff, like Techno, Trance, House, Aggrotech, Dark Ambient, Ritual, Neofolk/Dark Neofolk, Neo-Medieval music and also Clasical music and maybe some other kinds of music aswell. Also, I despise mainstrem music 😛

Voted rock since Queen is my favourite band ever, I'd been listening to it since before I was born (seriously). However, I've recently (past year or so) found myself listening to Stratovarius, Blind Guardian, Dream Theatre and DragonForce (power/progressive metal).

Apparently you prefer music similar to what was played whilst you were in your mother's womb. Which probably explains my niece's poor taste in music (she thinks Queen is "too guitary" and prefers Red Hot Chilly Peppers)... then again, she's 6 so she knows nothing. 🤣

The "Trash Metal" was actually a typo >_>, my mastake. And i agre with you, there should be a Blues option aswell, Folk would be something that would fall under the "other" Option (because you really cant expect the person to have just about all the music genres in the poll), that and i think Classical music should really have been there aswell.

i choose rock but cant say i listen rock very much. i am actually a fan of senfonic or folk metal. and i sometimes listen gothic, too. But since the poll didnt have theese options rock is the best fit for me... 😛

I usually listen to Jazz, Rap/Hip Hop, and R&B/Neo-soul.

Everything, pretty much. Jazz, Rock, Funk, Hip Hop, R&B, Classical, J-Pop, even a little Country and Folk here and there. I agree with whoever said that there's good stuff and bad stuff in every genre.

I like Gojira. They are classified as death metal, so that is the only DM I like. Black Metal growls are nasty.
