The first time I got one was in 3rd grade, though. I was passing out papers, and when one cut me, my only thought was "Ah. So THIS is a paper cut... Ow."

But I have eczema on my hands. It's like having a thousand paper cuts on your hands until 3 consecutive days of putting on 3 different types of creams and 2 different types of lotions each night heals them [for a period of time...].

yeah, the worst paper cut i received was when my friend yanked my essay out of my hand really fast, and it cut the "web" between my thumb and index finger..... It was painful, everytime i opened my hand a bit more than i should, it would rip open again. 😐

EXACTLY! I just had to quote you!!

I get about two a month.

It is very annoying since the only way to avoid it is using gloves in parts of work that involves papers and computers instead of just the ones where I need it. The feeling of typing on a computer with those thin protective gloves on is worse than the paper cuts...

I get paper cuts every once in a while, but I never seem to notice them. Until I notice the blood dripping. 🤣
But it doesn't really hurt. I don't see how it can impede on anything, unless your really sensitive to pain.
