Trigun is totally doable. Of course, I shutter to think of the quality of ANYof those titles going live action. The chances that they'll be made (or casted) by people who truly understand the original work is pretty slim. On the other hand, if they could pull it off, it'd be awesome. 😀

For some reason, I'm thinking the crew of Firefly/Serenity would do a great job.

love hina, just because there's no special effects needed, though the quality would probably total crap...

i think it'll be ghost in the shell or hellsing. there are already some films in this category and something like this would sell not only among otakus

the other ones would be boring and the CG would be terrible
fruit basket, love hina and chobits might only appear as a japanese drama, nothing more

Either way, I voted for Berserk, I do think a film adaptation would be do-able.

The problem with one piece is that no one could pull off most of the characters (particularly luffy). They cant even get the dub actors right for him...

What I really want though is a Gantz live action. I can't think of many things that would translate to live better than Gantz.

I really think Boys Next Door would make a good movie, or a good episode of Cold Case...

And there was something else I read that I thought "This would be a good live action movie..." but I can't remember it... Perhaps someday it'll come back to me.

But in my opinion, anything fantasy should just be ruled out completely. Anything from that genre made into live action is destined to be crap.

All anime adapted movies tends to suck big time, including video games....

i say the ONLY one that i thought they made a true piece of art out of, was SILENT HILL, other than that, america seems to spend more time and money on CG or fancy actors... they need some sort of new stuff...

If it has to be done I'd say Trigun. That's easily very do-able and plus there can be possible high def effects. You know how hollywood goes crazy for high def effects.

But another one you don't mention is like Detective Conan, that's an easy one where they could do like almost anything and not fail tremendously. Murder plot? Check! Cute Chick? Check! Adorable children? check! But knowing Hollywood they'd still screw it up 🙄

From the choices, it brings back memories of Sailor Moon Live Action. 😔

outside of the seinens i think all of them would be garbage, they'd turn out just like that wack dragonball movie, but FMA with the proper budget might work though, but i doubt theres a child actor out there who convincingly play a 13year old Ed giving his personality is very strong, especially for someone his age

i'd like to see a Vagabond like action though, or Vinland saga, that would work too...also pretty much any mecha manga would work, it would be like The Transformers movie
