That's hard to say.. Some are really obstructive and annoying.. Some are somewhat comical... And then some annoy the hell out of me because they use lots of images from various things and never note where they're from so I'm left asking or looking around for ages. =) But all in all I have no real opinion of them.

The only times I don't like them is when they use a spoiler scene from a manga or when they use a manga I don't recognize and never clarify on the page or their website what manga it is from. Otherwise, I just skip right past them.

I don't mind them most of the time.
But some group exagerate sometime by having 3-4 recruitment pages in a row i think 1-2 is enough more then that is simply annoying.
It's good. It's for the sake of your readings.

I like them. Because of competition the pages nowadays they usually have some interesting and eye catching images or info. Unlike watermarks, they don't get in the way either. It is how advertising in comics should be done.

I like them. They're usually funny, or have some sort of eye-catching art.

I second that. It would be much easier of they just used images from their own projects and leave me the task of searching for the names.

ERm, sometimes I like them and at other times, I ignore them.
However, they've been in use since well.... 2003 and way before? 😛

I wish there was another option... I don't entirely agree with any.
I don't like them so much.
I don't ignore them, don't hate.
And the option of no opinion seems pointless why would i vote then?
Sometimes I get annoyed because I see them in every chapter... other times they fool making me think that the chapter still isn't over and other times they are funny...

There should have been an option like this; "depends on the scanlation group". Because some are polite and formal, some are amusing, some silly and others...downright insulting. I mean, there are recruitment pages/notices that go along the typical "leechers are stupid and don't deserve to read manga" line. And when I see ones like that, I can't help but wonder "So why the heck are you doing these scanlations?"
But for the most part, I'd say I ignore them. (I used to look at them often back when I first started reading scanlations, but not anymore)
I ignore them most of the time. They don't bother me.
