So... do you have a favorite relative? Maybe one that always knows what you are thinking, but also know where all your buttons are and just how to press? Or maybe the one that tries to always help, and is completely wrapped around your finger? One that tries to get you to do what they think is 'for your own good'? Or one that underminds you, but doesn't realize it? In short, what's your family like?
I go away and suddenly the spammers are the mods. Okay, I can adjust to that, but... Gorath?! And what's up with Mam's not being the top poster?

I have most of my family "wrapped around my little finger." I'm the second girl born into the family (huge deal to 'em) and I'm my mum's daughter (my uncles had a huge sister complex and when my mum passed away, it then turned into a niece complex.. lol). As for my favorite.. that would actually have to be my roomies.. they're practically dads and brothers to me.. they helped raise me so they know me inside and out. Not that I'm not close to my actual family, but with them, I can share, say, ect everything that I want.. while with family, there are just some things you can't exactly say, do, ect.
If it weren't for the gutter, my mind would be homeless.
it would be my twin brother, I don't know how but the way we think is very similar, sometimes we even said the same thing at the same time, without even thinking or telling each other. I almost never had a fight with him, when we did we never apologize to each other after that just talk normally, and forget about it.

Ahh.. I want a twin! 🙁 I know a few twins that have kinda like, "esp" when it comes to each other.. pretty weird, but cool.

Nah, too much of a bother.. 😛 You'll almost always be identified as the "twins".. And if your other half is practically good in everything and you're not, that'll be so bad, I think.. 🤢
Anyways, family... Ehm, what to say..? 😀 I have three annoying little brothers.. 🤣 But they have their 'good' moments.. 😛 My mum is overcaring, and she's like a real control freak.. But yeah, I'd rather want overcaring than not caring at all.. And my dad is chill.. 😀
I only hang out/talk to some cool uncles and cousins, who are all male except one.. Oh yeah, and two cool aunts.. That is all.. 🤣

Hm, I have "everyone wrapped around my finger" too~
It's not my fault they spoil me. Anyway my favorite relative is my late great aunt. She's really cool, was a Beatles fangirl and went to their concerts and everything. I loved my late grandparents too, spoiled me rotten. 😀
I'm not really close with all my aunts, uncles and grandparents...i don't know why...maybe its just we don't talk much...the same goes for all my brothers and cousins...
but i'm really close with my cousins and brothers and with all of them its the same as Domonkazu, even if we fight, we never apologize then we just talk normally as if nothing happened.
I'm also really close with my parents...my mom spoils me rotten...even when she's against what i ask for(like buying a new computer) she still buys it anyway... 🤣 and my dad feels like a friend since he plays games offers me to drink with him and buys things like gundam models or other anime figurines even though he doesn't know anything about anime or manga...he just likes them...though most of them are ecchi...>.>

One word: Big. On my Mom's side there are 8 blood sisters, 4 blood brothers, 2 adopted brothers and 2 cousins that lived in house for 15 years so they are like brothers. My Dad's side there are 2 brothers and one sister.
It is a lot of uncles and aunts plus all the cousins and their kids. My mom is the second oldest and my older sister is older than my youngest aunt. Is wonderful, maddening, great and frustrating all at the same time.
Not much to say. I hate my family. Love is something thats rarely shown in my family.
My favorite person was my Grandmother. She died five years ago.
That is all.

My family is, quite simply, the nuclear family. On my paternal side, everybody dies in their fifties; on my maternal side, the men die in their fifties and the women live forever (Great Grandmother is 98 and just got Pneumonia in both lungs...and threw it off quickly. She still walks on her own; she's a survivor). Of course, I'm a guy, so looking at family history, I'm going to die in my fifties. Ouch.
I have one sibling, a sister older by two years, though she is only one grade ahead of me due to some circumstances.
My sister is a college freshman fifteen-hundred miles away. We bicker all the time face to face; however, now that we are distanced and speak only over the phone or AIM, we not only talk more often, but are friendlier. Weird how that works.
I am a moderately rebellious teenage guy. I do most of what I want and most of what my parents want. I hang out with friends. Argue with my parents a fair portion.
My parents want the best for me. Unfortunately, they think they know how I should go about getting it. Looking at their own circumstances, I'd say that they don't. They are easily offended and quick to shut down an argument if they start losing (I argue my cases logically and they argue emotionally; I usually come out ahead) by sending me away to my room. They've got this stupid notion that an A- isn't the same to a college as an A+. They yell at me about my grades, and cry when I tell them I'll be fine whatever the grades. They really don't have much faith in me, and never have. I tell them, "Mom, Dad, no matter what happens, I'll pull through--I'm resilient like that." They don't really believe me though. They don't like my choices (the fact that I'm probably going to go to college for the Arts and not Hard Sciences is especially hard on them), and they think I should redirect myself. Still, I know it's all because they love me a lot. They just have a fucked up way of showing it--and I'm not surprised. Really, I'm luckily that I am not abused, because I know that their parents abused the both of them. They're doing the best they can, and if they're not as good as some other parents, I imagine at least that they certainly try harder.
Compounding all issues with my parents is that, by that all my classes are college level, I have literally completed more education than them and know more. All they've got on me is some meager life knowledge--and I say meager because their lives have never been very full, nor have they lived them very well.
And for all that, I love my parents and my family very, very much.
Oh, that, and apparently I'm lucky that I'm above average and have no mental disabilities, because on my dad's side (he has five sisters and no brothers), almost all of my cousins have some sort of disorder. For three of them, it's autism, and for another two, it's evangelicalism (it's a disorder to me!). Another one is a super-genius, but he's too smart and has a lot of trouble dealing with people that can't hold their own in a high-octane intellectual debate, so much that he dropped out of college because his professors couldn't keep up. He works a dead-end job and hates it, and is morbidly obese from playing WoW for most of his off-time. He met his fiance there, even.
My sister and I are, statistically speaking, very lucky to have come out fully functional in society. Probably owe my Mom's side (think "normal people") for that.
I am the God of Freedom. I am not revered, I have no shrines; and you have never before heard of me nor will you ever hear of me again.

For me, it's pretty much just always been my nuclear familiy. My parents are immigrants, and most of the family lives overseas. We have some extended family in a big city somewhat nearby, but personally, I don't like them at all. They just annoy the heck out of me.
As for my parents and little brother, I love them. Maybe I don't show that enough, but I know that I do. They're basically everything to me.
I'm cool with my immediate family and some cousins but most of my relatives are either evil or crazy.
