it's a hard question to answer since i have never been in the position where killing some one had become an option. but it it where 'What won't i kill for?' then my list would be very long indeed

If killing was the only way to save my family.
For immortality or for the ability to foresee the distant future.

I would gladly kill (in real life) for self defense and never regret it.

In a fantasy world, I would kill for a number of reasons, such as immortality, supernatural powers, protect the one I love from the forces of evil etc. But then again, that is fantasy n_n

For me there are two types of people in this world - those I care about and the rest. I'd kill for the ones I care about. Just to make it clear I do care about myself. I suppose that I would kill for money and power too but that kind of thing requires quite a bit of planning and I hate planning. So you might as well say that I won't.

I don't know... To be honest I really can't imagine myself killing even for self-defense... If something like this actually happened, I think I'd eventually go crazy from guilt. I don't feel that I deserve to live more than anybody else on this planet, and even less - to take his life.

Probably:

+ If I ever got to meet Mudvayne in person, but then again I'd probably end up passing out XD.
+ Well, not kill necessarily, but I could threaten (to kill them, possibly) Viz to pick up a few titles, like PSYREN, Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro, Uragiri wa boku no namae wo shitteiru, etc.
+ To get every main installment (including sequels like FFXII: Revenant Wings, FFIV: The After Years, etc.) in the Final Fantasy series (soundtracks included. Especially XII's.) [I only have IV, X, X-2, and XII, and spin-offs, like Dissidia, and Crisis Core.]

Self-defense, if someone's trying to hurt/rape/murder/stab me then instead of just taking it, I would kill them if I had the ability to.

I want to say for my family's honour, if for instance someone hurt one of my family members, humiliated them beyond human ways, or even God forbid kill them, then I would want to..but the consequences for that would be dire...I guess I'd be raging beyond belief and would be plotting ways for revenge....hmm...

nothing really...i hope, though i might feel a pointed chagrin towards someone...but I know i wont able to live with the thought of the murdered person haunting me...

Dependz really. With the way things are going now i need nothing and no onez done anything to me so i wouldn't kill. However if someone killed or hurt(like rape etc) the people i care about such as my girlfriend, my parents, my important friends then i would torture that bastard ruthlessly and give him the most painful death possible. I would definetly kill in self defense as well but not torture, just kill them. I would not kill for money or power

I had written a huge text explaining how things work for me but decided not to post it, so I'll go by these two simple statements:

I lack the "*gasp* how could they do that?!" factor.

I wouldn't mind killing someone if I had a reason for it.

I wouldn't mind killing someone.

The problem, though, is having to live with guilt and my conscience and so on. That said, aside from those with very high resistance to guilt/conscience, etc.. and those who're born with no guilt/conscience/empathy, most of us will have to live with haunting dreams of guilt and fear if we kill someone.

That said, no... I wouldn't kill the person directly. I'd find a way to screw him/her over, such that the person ends up in jail for life. Or if not, get someone who is capable of committing murder, to help me do it.

What kinda situation would cause me to kill?

Basically, making me soo angry to the point that I completely snap and turn into some insane homicidal idiot.

What I'd kill?

- people who sexually/physically abuse their kids to death
- organ/children traffickers

As well as those greedy heads of corporations who play fast and loose with people's livelihoods and savings: Enron, Maddox, etc. No, you don't have to lack guilt or conscience to cause wide-scale devastation, you just have to be a jerk or some sort of Grade A arsehole who's buried in dreams of delusions and so on.

Also, a lot of politicians who work using theory instead of practical, thus implementing projects that displace people's homes, cause environmental damage, etc. And why? All for the sake of "looking good" or for say... siphoning money. Because on paper, it says that A = great and B = terrible, so nothing will happen, no?

Stupid parents who think that they can toss out their children on the streets for being gay, lesbian, or some sort of anomaly that doesn't agree with their mindset, And what do those children end up becoming? Child prostitutes, drug dealers, murderers, etc.

Or how about greedy pharmaceutical companies which "patent" certain types of plants, from poorer countries, so that they can take like 90% to 99.9% of the profits and earn billions from everything?

Or basically, many people in this world who're too apathetic to even care about anything: not even if someone gets raped, tortured or murdered in their eyes. I say... let these people have a taste of "an eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth" and let them understand the meaning of pain and suffering.
