Nah, even geeks and otakus get love! 😃
Many are just too young, prolly.
Who knows? I say that nerds rule because they do... But as a nerd, I have other, more dominating things on my mind than my crushes.

that's why they're called crushes! They crush all your other hobbies 🤣 Which is why I don't have crushes... only "interests"

Maybe I've got a mythomania? 🤣Maybe you do, at the very least. 🤣
We're not on topic again (it always happen when you're here)!
To go back...
The most flashy confession I ever had was when a guy friend who sings at this coffee shop/art gallery in my old university confessed to me in front of everyone after his gig. So embarrassing. Not a happy ending either, 'cause I only liked him as a friend...
Did you rejected the poor guy in front of everyone?[/quote]

I guess i'll just put my best and worse confession.
Best: The morning i was leaving for college (freshman yr.) by train Amtrak one of my best friend (since junior high) confessed to me, he was really sweet, at that time i also had started to develop those kind of feelings for him, though the timing sucked. I had a really hard time deciding if a long distance relationship was worth it.
Worse: This one i'm not even sure if its a confession. We were at a resturant it wasn't a date or anything just friends who were hungry. We had window seats and he confesses while were eating desert(strawberry cheesecake) and ask's me to go out with him. There was a silence i wasn't sure what to say, i mean he seemed nice but i had no special feelings toward him and before i said one word he shakes his head towards the window, i'm like what? He says "theres a vacancy", across from us there was this cheap motel with the vacancy sign turned on. I couldn't believe him, i had never done anything to imply that i was easy. 😕

hmm...i think i have been confessed by somebody about 5 times. i can only remember 2 tho >.< once was 2 years ago there was this weird guy that i had no clue who he was and he was just like "i love you" 😲 i was completly shocked and i just kinda ran out of the room. Well, the second time was like a month later. There was this guy and i known him since like grade 5. we have been in all of the same classes and we talked alot. then in grade 7 i was in the library alone and he just came in and i didn't notice at all. Then we like talked abit then he suddenly leaned over and kissed me and said "i love you, i loved you since grade 5. WOW i didnt like him at all i only thought about him as a friend. i told him that i didnt like him and then i left shocked again, lol. Then about a month ago that same guy asked me again and again and again. he is so annoying, everytime during my classes he always gets in the class quick just to sit next to me then during all class he has his entire body turned toward me and stares at me all class long. very scary. now i just advoid him at all costs. 😲

Ive never had what i would call a good confession. Back in highschool I had afew girls confess. One was a note from a girl who sat near me in like 3 classes. We had been in the same group for several differnt group projects. I would smile and say hi to her when i saw her in the halls, but i had no idea how she felt. One of her friends gave the note to me in second period. I read the note and though she was a nice girl but really didn't feel romantic about her. During lunch I went to explain to her, and even though i try to talk to her alone like 8 of her freinds taggged along to watch. I tryed to be as nice as possable, but nothing i could say could stop her from crying. I mean crying too, like crocodile tears. One of her freinds like jumped into the conversation and started cussing at me and saying i had lead her on. After lunch both of my 2 remaining classes had the girl who conffessed in them and evey time she looked at me she burst back into tears. For months after i though every girl in school wanted to kill me, even one or two teachers. I have never felt like such an asshole for something not my fault.
another horrible confession happened to me senior year in one of my freind's basement. Several of us had cut class and went to his house cause his parents were out of town. We had gotten some beer somehow. My freind and several other people had gone outside to smoke and left me and his girlfreind in the basement playing Xbox. She starts telling me how thier relationship is going down hill. So I try to get my buddy's back and tell her how great of a guy he is. Then bam! she grabs my head and kisses me. After a half second of pure confusion I pull away, and without a word stood up walked outside got in my car and left, leaving my all my freinds on the porch in a state of confusion. Several hours later I get a call on my cell and caller id says my friend's home phone. Im thinking Im gonna have to tell him my side of the story so i answer it. However it wasn't him, it was her. She was crying and stone drunk, " We just broke up and i need a ride home, will you come and get me?" Then like a dumbass I drove and got her. She was so drunk she couldnt tell me where she lived and passed out in the back seat of my car. I couldn't go home with a drunk girl in the back seat of my car. So i ended up parking the car at a park and trying to sleeping in it. However she started throwing up all over the place and i ended up spending most of the night holding her hair back in the park restroom.

Reading your post gunsofbrixton reminds me of how annoying girls can be about these things. Basically, you get her alone, and make sure that she's alone. It's less awkward.
