You'd be surprised, dude. Lots of people care what others think. I even know some people that think they don't care what other people think, but they really do and just don't realize it.

a lot of people seem to think that I am a good person, responsible and kind of a workaholic, but the truth is that they don't truly know me, so why I should care about what they think? they don't know me and as such can't have an appropriate judgment.

I am, but I do hide it to "random" people. Only the ones that truly know me know my personality and the things that I like or not.
I don't actually hide it because of the "what would they think" fact, just because I don't care enough to let them know. Am I making any sense here? >_>
