Quote from wolf_unknown

If it makes you feel any better, I loved Kichiku Megane, and I normally HATE stuff like that. No, seriously, hate. But I loved Kichiku Megane. It's probably the only BL game I've ever replayed a storyline in. I mean, I love it in a "this is ridiculous but I just can't stop playing!" kind of way. But that still counts.... right?

I am not usually interested in yaoi/BL, let alone games. I think KM's art is super ugly and that alone can make me never want to go near it, sorry. Everybody has their preference. I am sure playing it makes you feel better. 🙄

the only one BL game i've ever played was Zettai Fukuju Meirei - Absolute Obedience c:
you should try it, i believe it's already a officially translated english BL game, i DL-ed it via torrent though

it had pretty nice art most of the time and the characters were very well developed.
the plot was pretty enjoyable as well, it was set in Germany after the war
(don't get the wrong impression though, it wasn't dark at all..
well except for like one which had rape but it's extremely mild compared to enzai and stuff)
you also get to complete the missions as two characters, though both of them are semes, unfortunately.

I've played a handful!
The first game I had ever played was Absolute Obedience. I borrowed a copy from my friend, and wow, I do love the art. But since I played it around a year ago, I didn't know what "walk-throughs" and "guides" were. All I did was frustrated myself over the fact that I kept getting crappy endings. And I never did finished the game. =\ I'd love to play it again.

@tipsynoodles. I love the fact that they were both semes. 😉
Totally my taste. _____

I have also played Enzai. That one was depressing. I got all the good and bad ends, and collected those pretty CGs.

Currently, I'm playing Silver Chaos. Although I've already gotten all the good ends, I love to play my games thoroughly so I need to go back and get all the bad ends. The good thing about Silver Chaos is that you can be the Seme or Uke, depending on which route you take. Unfortunately, (from what I remember) you can only be a seme in three routes, and you're an uke for all the other ones! =\

I tried this other game called Kuro no Tsuki. It was dialogueless (no talking/voices), and you have to pretty much read the entire time. I managed to finish one path only.. It was sorta boring without voices. Sometimes it got a bit annoying.. But oh well, maybe I'll give it a second chance in the future.

@eccentrick: haha xD i actually loved the fact that they weren't whiny girly-boys until i saw louise and kia's secret missions. and i have to say, ever since i found out about reversi, i wish louise and kia played bottom sometimes too~

Silver Chaos sounds exactly like my cup of tea. <3
(though as you've said, more seme routes wouldn't hurt.)

I feel like I'm the only person who was entirely unimpressed with Silver Chaos. I liked a couple of the characters okay, and the Adonis ending was reasonably good, but the rest of it just fell totally flat for me - and I love fantasy, so I was really surprised at how boring I found it.

Well, Silver Chaos wasn't the greatest game out there.. but it was entertaining enough XD. I was really irked at the fact that... whenever a character yelled something out loud, like "NOOO!" (or y'know, something along those lines) the character just stood there with only their facial expressions changing. XD

But besides complaining about that~
I think the Adonis route really is the best one. But the other routes are pretty cool too. I like the fact that you get a bit of background story on the characters. I was actually afraid of going through the Pam Route. Because well.. guilt welled up in me..! He looked 12! _____
