hey i had a theory i wanted to state that i sorta wanted to be picked apart.
u kno how kenpachi cant use shikai and his vice captain has never used hers either?
could it be that he is actually her bankai?
They did say that kenpachi saved her.
He could actually be a sort of fail safe for her.
there is no designated form that a bankai can take and also Yachiru had a sort of wierd moment with Ichigo when kenpachi was fighting Nnoitra.
any ideas?

Just want to say Kenpachi is using shikai, his zanpakuto is a constant release type like Ichigo's.

Nope thats wrong. His sword is not much more than a piece of metal he can't release anything with it and it hasn't even a name.

        Actually Zaraki's reiatsu is so insane that he is using not the sword to cut but pretty much his overwhelming reiatsu surrounding the sword to cut.  In the Episode 40-41 even Zangetsu stated that Zaraki cant use a release and only uses his own strength.  So truth be told that sword that he carries might not even be his own.    
        However the idea of Yachiru being his Bankai is wrong.  Yachiru being his swords spirit like as Zabimaru and Zangetsu is shown then that could be possible.

Hey, I never said I actually believed the theory... I was just suggesting an alternative. Frankly, as far as Zaraki is concerned, I prefer to take him at his incredibly awesome face value.

I also like the basic idea, would be nice if one of the two really is a bankai, a swords personification... whatever at least kinda surprising 😀
Is it unlikely ? Yeah, but the idea alone is pretty sweet.

Also... Wasn't the constant shikai idea confirmed by the databooklet - I don't think it has been translated yet... I heard it mentioned Zaraki was the same as Ichigo because of the constant release -- could just have been a mistranslation/hoax (I don't read Japanese).
