energizerbunny, new rival? What for? To make Usui Jealous? We already seen that and we still have Hinata, and that student president from rich school hasn't given up yet too... We already have more than enough material to stuff into that place so why to force someone else?

For drama? Rivals do not make good drama, they make guy jealous but not drama... Love triangles make drama...

And why and hwo Misaki would forma a lova triangle?

Lets see the ways traingles are done

1) Gradual character build up - Usui took it somewhere 30 chapters to get to Misaki, if you bring another character and want to form a triangle through gradual build up you would need more than twenty chapters focusing on the new gyu and Misaki... Do you really want that?

2) Fast character build up - it only happens if the new guy is better than the fated one... Can you really imagine a guy so much better and hotter than Usui that he could cut build up to 4-5 chapters? Usui is nearly perfect I cannot imagine how someone better than perfect should be...

3) An evil guy does it by force... But we already have one (that student president guy), so why another? besides is Misaki so weak to lie and take it?

4) Main lead is a jerk and the one who steps in is a nice guy - yeah right, Usui is as far from being a jerk to Misaki as one can get... So this one is off by default.

5) Main guy breaks heroines heart and onether party is a shoulder to cry on - its hard to imagine Usui doing that, after all he pretty much gave up his life just to get one single photo for Misaki its hard to imagine what could make him do that.. And would Misaki give up so easily and break? She is not those 95% heroines with zero personalities that does nothing but cry 24/7.

So I'd say love triangle is useless and would look forced because it doesnt seem to be able build up in any more or less natural way.

And we dont need any rivalry since we already have plenty of that.

The only way for me is if it would be another giorl to make Misaki jealous, since we have never seen that...

that would mean misaki would have to be jealous or something, meaning her insecurities would come out, and probably an obligatory crying scene with her emo-ing how beautiful/smart/whatever the other girl is. UGH. i would never want to see misaki do that.

unless she'll be the angry type of love rival, but i can't see misaki pitted against another girl, shes their hero after all ;/

sigh. let's just have the evil president guy have some dirt on usui or something and blackmail them into doing something weird.
