I just wanted to recess & count a bit how much players for this game exist in such an anime-related com.
So who does or did?

I did and still do at times.
Although I think I've seen this
thread before.

i played a private server once upon a time....my friend found a glitch in the game which allow you to buy a specific item and sell it for double price....i remember making a merchant & buy those scrolls in large quantity and sell it back....she and i used to be the riches players in that server xD.....until they upgraded to a new version and disable the glitch T_T

I used to play official servers.. back in the old days... The last of Beta one of iRO, then 2nd beta... then it went pay to play... So I switched over to jRO and then I think that went p2p as well and then starts the long journey through Private servers... Ahaha the good old days XD. I don't play RO anymore though but I don't think I would mind starting again if I had someone to play with O_O. Ahaha fun fun.

Saiyuki Gaiden - Chapter 19
I played some three or four years ago on both official and private servers... The game was the first and last MMORPG I've played. After 3 months of playing in spare time and reaching the advanced classes I gave up on these games.
Can you imagine an imaginary menagerie manager imagining managing an imaginary menagerie?

I play, still kinda addicting.... on a side note, there's plans for new classes:

I've played animaRO private server and was very disappointed when the server shut down. All the other private servers did not satisfy me so I quit for a while. I then played feelRO for a couple months but got sick of it and quit again. I guess after animaRO shut down, no other private server was good for me. 😮

I used to be a RagNut, playing the open beta and closed beta many years ago. During its beginning, it was one of a kind, somewhat, and addicting. Even made a website dedicated to it. (You might find it floating on the web, if you look up RO fan sites.)
Now, I play Secret of the Solstice, which looks like a carbon copy of RO, but is quite fun to play and in some ways, better. I'd suggest looking it up at outspark.com. What I prefer about SoS to RO is that it's free, paid off by selling "premium" items to those who can afford it for regular cash. The best part is: It's FREE! Can't stress how much I recommend it.

I played it before quite allot, it was fun. But its lacking core features (like quests) that should be available in a MMROPG. It has great things to it, the game mechanics are complex and contain great depth. They also did a great job with adding content.
Not the king of game I would pay to play though.
