Just that. All the crew members have some sad background story. Of all of them which one did you like the most? Some may have liked the sad part of ones story, other the dream part (their ambition) other some other element. So who's story do prefer.

The arcs in the parethesis are the ones related when the backstory was told. Just to make it easier to remember when the flashbacks happened.

Chopper's. For some reason, his was the only backstory that made me sad.

Robin's, just so heart-breaking T__T Nami's is a close second.

Nami's since it was the first truly sad one, and thus the greatest impact on me. Robin's comes in a very close second.

No, no, no. The hat was clearly the culmination of Nami's backstory, as it ended her backstory: i.e. her history with Arlong's pirates. Only after that did she move from the story of her past into a member of Luffy's crew. (Also, her introduction to the story was long before the Arlong arc).

I voted for Nami, though Chopper's was among one of the only ones that actually almost made me cry. Robin is my second choice too.

I was thinking about voting for Zoro's till I remembered Robin's. Robin's backstory moved me the most - It was very depressing ;_;
