Comments/Ratings for groups?

I did a quick check to see if this was previously suggested, but I'm at work, so it wasn't totally comprehensive, thus my apologies if I reiterate a past issue.
I've been gone for a while, but I know that back in the day, aside from posts about what your favorite Naruto character was (Sakura because she's in more doujins), a common forum list was favorite group. I figure that people still have a 'favorite group' who consistently brings them things that they like, or has exceptional quality, speed, or whatever. And maybe people wanna make their likes or dislikes known. Not necessarily with rankings, but perhaps just a comment-based system.
And from a group perspective, I'm particularly interested in knowing what people like or dislike about our methods (distribution, scan quality, genre choices, edits, etc). It seems that ever since these giant conglomerate sites popped up, less and less people are coming to the individual sites to tell them what they think, which is kind of a tragedy of progress, and makes all the work we do feel a little less appreciated, despite the larger number of people reading it.

Personally i'm all for a comments and ratings for groups, but with any feature added, there is also a drawback, and people always willing to abuse it... group rivalry, etc.

It would cause too much needless drama, I think.

I agree. Not many people have opinions on groups and those that do probably are based on trivial things. (They released it before us etc... etc...) And there isn't really a need. If you want to know how that certain group is doing, go to the website. All groups should deal with their own problems and shouldn't involve baka-updates with them.
