I don't watch dubbed anime. I accidentally stumbled on Samurai Champloo dubbed and I almost died.

There are just some voices you do not dub over and Kazuya Nakai's is one of them.

I think that the OnePiece, dbz, and fist of the north star(saw it in french and they totally butcherd it because the voice actors thaught it wasto violent) and all of the 4kids dubs was pure CRAP!

But they are still some ok dubs like Full metal alchemist, fullmetal panic,and some of the gundams are really good(seed, destiny and wing) 🙂

Eiken Club. My friend gave me the subbed version of the OVA, and I was laughing my ass off (Because it looks like a parody of harem and ecchi stories to me), so when I found out that the english dub was coming on TV, I decided to see how it was.

IT WAS HORRENDOUS. The voice actors all sounded like they were bored, or high, and they kept mispronouncing Densuke's name like "DEN-SUE-KAY".

Would it be wrong if I told anyone where to watch it?

Latin spanish dubs there are some little jewels, but mostly suck too, also spain spanish sucks, excepting 2 o 3 series i've seen

tokyo mew mew. i watched the dub a while back and i was like wtf! they changed the background music, names of the characters, beginning and ending songs, some of the script, name(mew mew power) also they took ep 13 and turned it into episode 1! which makes the wole thing bloody confusing. only dubbed up til ep 26 and im glad they lost the right to do the rest 😃

Then you prolly didn't see the sub and also read the manga.
The dub also changed a huge part of the story, but well, SK was what got me into anime&manga so I can't complain that much.

4kids scarred me so much, I can't watch dubs now. I just can't ._. 4kids raped my ears and eyes with Escaflowne back when it aired on fox kids. Frankly there is nothing, and I mean nothing 4kids could have done to make a dub worse than what they did to that. So yes, Shaman King was dubbed badly, but sadly enough it's been their best dub ever as well.

I haven't watched much dubbing but Sasuke's voice in Naruto is... ew. And Kagome's voice in Inuyasha was utterly unbearable. Uh Shirley in Code Geass was pretty bad too. Bleach and Death Note overall had pretty good dubbing 😉

but if you think english dubs are bad, the swedish dub for an anime called
Cyborg 009 takes the cake, throws it in your face, and rapes a sad little clown.
one guy with a speech inpediment makes the whole thing in what must have been one take. mens voices, womens voices, everything, even some of the soundeffects. also, he had a deadline he couldn't handle, so he ended up improvising about a fourth of it....
seriously, even someone who doesn't know swedish hears how bad it is...

Hmm worst dubbed anime I ever seen was Ranma ½ .Gee I hate their voices in the dub it was a pain to listen to them.

i don't like to watch dubed anime it just sound strange to me.
the only good dub (in french) i have heard so far are the anime from ghibli and some old one like ranma 1/2 or Nicky Larson.

Meh... dubs tend to put an ill taste in my mouth. If I feel like it, I'll occasionally watch the only good ones that are on Adult Swim (GTS and Cowboy Bebop... Trigun has nice dubs too but it doesn't air anymore). From what I can remember, I think Sailor Moon had horrible dubs... maybe... Yup, it does. I just watched this. 😛

It doesnt help that I dont like the original very much. Its like they took everything I hated about the characters and magnified it by 10. It killed a piece of my soul to listen to it for an episode.

I dont know why they even make them. I would be more likely to buy Anime that was only subbed! Its just a waste of money for the companies. They spend all this money hiring crappy voice actors. Thats part of the reason why Anime is so expensive in the USA Dx

And I don't watch dubbed versions of animes except when I watch animes like Bleach, FMA, stuff that comes on adult swim. The dubbed versions of those animes really are't that bad like most other animes. I am scared shitless to hear the dubbed version of VK. >.<

And did anyone notice that you hear the same voice actors over and over again? 0.o
