Torture

I'm looking for a title that involves torturing the protagonist. I don't mind if it is physical or mental torture, but I want it to be direct. By this I mean that the people around him are not involved and the protagonist is solely the victim of the torture. I prefer the title to be shounen/seinen and without comedy as one of its genres.

3 years ago, he made a deal with a demon and, though you don't know this right away, you soon learn through flashbacks and references that it's because on his tenth birthday he was orphaned, kidnapped, and tortured to death, and he made the deal to save his life and get revenge on the people who tortured him. btw, it was physical torture (they burned him and starved him and cut him open).

17-sai. I'm too afraid to read it though, based on a true story where a girl was kidnapped and tortured to death
In the story the girl survives (I believe) and goes on with her life while the criminals spend eternity in prison, in reality she was murdered and since the rapists were underage they were freed and are still alive today, walking around free.

yes this. read it.
its hard to believe that people can be so inhumane...its not only the rapists, but also the whole neighbourhood since they were all aware of what was going on but didnt do anything to stop it
the girl went through horrible torture, the least we can do is read her story and acknowledge her pain

Kimi no Knife has a girl that fits, kinda.
