My best friend and I are avid Pokemon lovers and also lovers of our real world. So my friend brought up the idea of Pokemon in world war 2 but we had a lot of ideas and we are going to eventually write a fan fiction. My question to this society is Is this a good idea? And we will like and appreciate any ideas please post if you have some.

I would just so happen to be that best friend.
And yes, Ideas would be much appreciated.
We do have many ideas of our own but we can't cover every single Pokemon and its' place in the fiction.

It sounds interesting.
Maybe you could have James as Hitler and Jessie as Eva Braun. 🤣

O.O
this sounds... interesting I guess
Personally, I think it's stupid. D:
But the point of the whole thing is that if you guys think it's fun, then go right ahead.
That's just one girl's opinion, though. 😀

If you're planning on writing it to commercialize it: No.
If you're planning to write it for fun: Could be a great thing to right about.
However, a work of fiction that has pokemon (for kids) but is about world war II (not a kid subject) wouldn't be very sellable.

I think that it'd be interesting. But you can't commercialize it, just post it on the Internet with its own website, and it will be awesome.

Yeah, it's just for fun.

I think you will only destroy the peacefull image of pokemon
In pokemon there is no blood, nobody ever die, the pokemon are not weapon they are little cute living creature (most of them) and not anything else.
Making them kill each other is the most horrible idea ever because they were made of friendship not hatred. World war 2 was a war where millions of people die. Can you really think pokemon could do this much killing.
If you still think it is a go idea then do it but make it so that this will be impossible for a kid whose search pokemon on google to find your horrors story.

What is so bad about it?
They can do anything they want, and there is nothing wrong with it.
PS: this was a rather gruesome post, but I decided it wasn't worth the insult.
PS: Retarded Image is the word that comes to my mind... Also is a fact that kids under 12 should not surf the net (EVER) so be free to post it in any place that allows you to post it 😁

Wow, yeah you really could pull off a pokemon offshoot of WW II. In fact, it wouldn't be terribly hard, although you'd probably be revamping the actual mechanics of pokemon battles and turning them more into weapons than anything.
Not bad though. Would be best as a manga / animation so you could have character resemblances from the show.

"Peaceful image of pokemon"? I'm sorry but I fail to see anything peaceful about pokemon... it's more like sprinkles covering over a C4 Bomb to me..
Let me explain: In the world of pokemon, there are creatures that are captured in devices called "Pokeballs" that completely render the captured pokemon to the will of what they call his or her "masters/trainer" then they are forced to battle their fellow pokemon until they "faint" (cause we know pokemon can't die.. >.>) and are further forced to fight with enhancements of which we don't know of what that's made of called "potions". Either potions or the so called "Nurse Joy" who nurse them back to health only to fight again in the ring.
I mean.. if this is what you call peaceful... I don't know what havoc is to you then.

That was one of our ideas we were going to have different Pokemon for different torture one is some one who can clear out places easily like how Peaches mentioned the Mewtwo that was a Nazi experiment. Any ideas like this and also by the way we wont commercialize this I doubt any one will publish anything by two 15 year old nerds.
