I'd be happy to see Hitsugaya die but that's probably wishful thinking.
If anyone were to die I'd expect Yamamoto or Ukitake. Minor characters might die and evil characters surely will, but I can't see Kubo getting rid of any of the primary cast.
Then again, maybe I'm wrong.
I kind of "prepared" if Yamamoto dies cause it would be interesting who will replace him but Ukitake to die, I hope not. He's one of the original captain in Gotei 13 and I would love him to be there till the end. So what if he is sick, I just love his nurturing character and his intelligence too
If I were the rain.....
Could I ever merge with somebody's heart,
Like the way the rain merges the sky and earth,
Never meant to connect...

even though i love hitsugaya, he needs to die. It would have a huge impact, considering his fan base, and the manga would probably get more popular too.
I don't think so, shounen fans are simple folk who can't take that kind of emotional distress. Just look at Death Note killing off L, the series lost half it's fanbase because of that.
But does anyone else find it just crazy stupid that Kiaen Shiba (or whatever his name is) dies from a stab wound in the gut and he dies, but Momo gets the exact same wound and she lives? I thought that Momo should at least have died, does she even play a significant part in the rest of the show? Although, I guess to give Kiaen some credit, considering his wife was killed, he might've wanted to die.
Well, he didn't had Unohana in close distance. She's the miracle maker~ If she wasn't there Hinamori and Hitsugaya would've probably been dead.

But she was there. I guess that Tite didn't want to make Bleach a dark manga.

I kinda wish Orihime or Chad would die.
Chad is ... so useless.
Orihime is just one of those annoying characters.
Orihime should die like Shirley did in code geass. That would be awesome!
Death should be embraced, not rejected.

I’m kinda glad no one dies in Bleach! Man! Naruto had me in an emotional rollercoaster when I THOUGHT they killed off Garra. I was cryin so hard… I know… I’m a loser but I couldn’t help it. Heck when I thought they killed of Choji I was cryin my eyes out and I don’t even like Choji! I prefer not to cry while reading my manga thank you very much! But I will say. ALL their injuries look life threatening if not fatal. I have no idea how much blood they produce but it is usually all over the place by time anyone is done fighting. 😁
Some people are like slinkies, not really good for anything but they bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs. 🙂

I think that in the SS Arc, at the very least they could've aced Momo and Byakuya (even though Byakuya's my second favorite character in the show). Momo cause it would've been the tragic death and Byakuya cause it would've been the redemption death. Do those two even play a big part in the stuff after the SS Arc?

Thats the whole point. You're supposed to make a connection with characters. So when their ultimate demise comes along you feel the effect that their friends feel in the story. When Mangakas don't kill off characters in these mangas that are based off of fighting. Its a failure IMO because what is the point of fighting then?

A wholeheartedly agreement is what we have.

And the biggest flaw is....
Why didn't Aizen didn't finish off Hinamori and Hitsugaya?
He doesn't have any reason to let them live! From the conversation, he's seriously going to kill Hinamori. And don't tell me something like "What!? They are saved!? I was sure I have hit them at vital point..." That's just impossible for Aizen. 😀

Aizen is a coward. That's why. He wants others to do his dirty work.
And the story really doesn't need killing to be effective. A clear undisputed defeat is attainable in most cases, and furthermore, they are souls anyway. I think a better question is how the hell can a soul bleed.

That explains why he didn't stab Hinamori through the gut, practically cut Hitsugaya in half, beat up Ichigo and Renji, and take out Komamura with a kido spell. Oh, wait...
