Great chapter! Nice to see so many characters appearing. Like I imagined, Luffy did something rash, but because it is him, it was cool 🙂

Discuss!

It'd be a miracle for roronoa to get to the meeting place this time, considering his sense of direction. 🙂

Maybe Luffy got it in memory of Ace. Kinda looks like the one Ace had on his arm.

Typical Oda, after revealing what Luffy had done. There still some mystery behind it which make the readers question and figure what it is.
This is torture, I really can't wait for the next chapters!!

What they did and the picture with him praying that was printed in the newpaper all across the world was so cool. Very good shot of him.
Getting the tattoo in memory of Ace makes sense. So does just getting one for the hell of it.
It is scientifically proven that tattoos make you look forty-three percent cooler. Just as afros make people stronger.
Seeing everyone else in the new world really makes me wish everything would get started again 🙂 I want to see new worlds and such.

Exactly, I was wondering about that too... Can't tell what it is but looks kinda similar to Ace's tatoo...

Looks like Ace's tattoo.

True, but it doesn't seem to spell out Ace's name.

Damn Oda, after three weeks of Luffy being mentioned in the news all we get is a code to decipher. Oh well, still looking forward to next week.

Dammit Oda, leaving more questions after you provide answers...

Anyway, it seems that Moria is dead or at least missing seeing how the Five Elders were talking about how they have to fill in 3 spots. I'm also glad that Oda didn't forget about these five either, cause IIRC they appeared in only one chapter and that was about 300 chapters ago...

And apparently, there's someone that's an even higher rank than Sengoku. I thought that Fleet Admiral was the top of the Marines' ranks...

Well, at least I (as well as everyone) knows what the newspaper was about.

Also, I feel rather sorry for both Garp and Sengoku, especially after what happened in the previous arc. Somewaht surprise the Marines decide to have them remain in the force, if only for other reasons.

As for the message, it seem some understood what it meant, but others seems rather confused (especially Zoro), even misinterpreting it.

Anyway, this was a good chapter and hope to see what happens next.

It'd be interesting if the the third shichibukai (after Jinbei and Blackbeard) is actually Moria and not Boa, who was fighting off marines like Smoker while defending Luffy. Smoker may have an ulterior motive in not telling anyone Boa was defending Luffy. And if there's one thing I've learned about Oda while reading One Piece, it's that he hardly forgets anything -- the smallest detail could be pretty big later on.

While it would be cool if all of the Strawhats understood Luffy's message right off the bat, it'd be hilarious if everyone interpreted it to mean something else.

It was Koby who helped put a stop to the battle using a weak Haki in chapter 579
