Genre [Fantasy/Historical/etc] stories with love-to-hate romance like Natsume/Mikan [Gakuen Alice] or Fakir/Ahiru [Princess Tutu]?

Hey guys! I'm looking for a genre (so, not slice-of-life, think large over arching plot) romance with love/hate relationships that evolve over time.
I have read Cardcaptor Sakura, Kamisama Hajimemashita, Takane to Hana, Samurai Deeper Kyo, and Reimei Arcana, but beyond those, Gakuen Alice and the anime of Princess Tutu and Pretear, I am stumped!
I have tried the enemies become lovers tag and bullies the one they love tag, but haven't found much. Most are slice of life where the will-they-won't-they plot is the sole plot and relies on both characters being obtuse for the sake of a thin veneer of conflict.
Any reccomendations? I'm fine with shounen/shoujou-ai on the side, but for the main story I'm looking for guy/girl.
Thanks for your time!

Basara definitely has the complex, enemies-to-lovers drama you're looking for. It's semi-historical, and even has a happy ending.

- Nobara no Hanayome (arranged marriage/fake relationship)
- Hana ni Arashi (TAKAGI Shigeyoshi) (female lead stopps overly affectionate male lead)
- Dragon Knight (fantasy, subtle romance)
- My Hero! (down-to-earth/funny romance)
Maybe Haru no Houtai Shoujo as well. It is not really a love/hate relationship,
but more about having to deal with guilt. (couple growth)
I know these might not be the best recommendations,
however I still hope I could help. 🙂

The only other ones I think might meet at least the majority of what you're talking about would be Yuureitou and (perhaps) Sakamichi no Apollon.
Though, yeah, Yuureitou has some genderbender elements (it's all guy/girl, but yeah, genderbendery, and definitely romance even though I see now it's not listed......no idea why that is >_<) , and Sakamichi probably doesn't have a lot of outright "hate".......but both definitely with complex plots and historical/period-type settings.
Good luck finding something 🙂
