I think I can, but I never really tried that hard. I mean, I know how to make rice, pancakes, pasta, cakes... I know, but I don't do them so often, so maybe I think I can, but I will fail if I try without any help from my mother. Sometimes I also do some non-sense stuff in the kitchen, like almost melting a plastic container in the stove... Anyway... I think I can, but I never tried doing it alone.

On a side note, I ALWAYS burn the microwave popcorn, seriously, I NEVER get it right. I gave up a long time ago and I can say that doing it normally it is actually easier and tastier.

My parents don't even allow me to enter the kitchen. I am very very clumsy and get hurt quite frequently. So I guess they are afraid that I would chop off my fingers or something. They also want me to focus on studies and tell me that cooking can be learnt anytime. This equates to not even being able to cut fruit properly. I cut fruit only twice or thrice a year and they end up in sorts of all weird shapes. I can manage instant noodles though 😎

I love to cook. I'm always willing to learn and try new recipes. It's a relaxing experience for me and even if I get tired, with the praises and the second helpings, it's worth it.

Yes. Everybody on both sides of my family are damn good cooks. I wouldn't have been able to avoid learning how to cook even if I wanted to.
I have baby pictures of me playing with biscuit doe in diapers.

I fail to understand how people don't know how to cook even when they have a recipe with detailed instructions in front of them. They treat it like its fucking rocket science 🙄
