Hello! I'm interested in a yaoi situation where a character is introduced to a new environment, and has a scared or meek/humble reaction to it. For example, an abused slave gets bought by a kind owner and isn't sure how to react to it, or keeps expecting to be punished for things the owner doesn't mind. And, of course, romance! A nice someone helping them along the way would be great. 🙂

Examples:
Mori no Koe - Abused slave, kind owner.

Hohoemi no Nichijou - Abused boy, kind stranger.

Isso Mou, Kudokitai! - trauma regarding romance, so he's very troubled about a new love.

I prefer fiction over realism, but I'll read whatever's interesting. Thank you!

Hana no Saku Koro: ostracized seme x quirky uke in a fantasy setting (actually i cant be sure of their roles 8D its shounen ai)
Doushitemo Furetakunai: uke traumatized by a past love with a straight man falls in love with another straight man who accepts him fully. the uke isn't meek though...more like he goes full on tsundere lol. i still recommend it.

i cant think of anymore right now @_@ maybe i'll add later

Try Te o Tsunaide, Sora o. To me it has a feeling similar to Hohoemi no Nichijou.
