naruto is a good manga
when a shounen manga lands into certain peoples hands and captures there eye and things get interesting and you feel inspired by the main charecters spirit. the ambition the concept, the creativity and they feel inspired like they can relate to at least one of the charecters u start to get interested. also as you see the way the people behave. the art. the style of the manga. When it comes down to it Naruto is pretty good quality. i don't see how you are comparing naruto to dragon ball.

there are a long list of unique charecters in naruto. in which people pick who they feel for. once that is decided they grow interested in following the charecters. story line and fights. also another good aspect of naruto is the emotional aspects of the charecters are portrayed powerfully with words and art. its very interesting

manga are influenced by other manga thats obvious. in naruto charecters dont power up like they do in dragon ball even though u see energy waves. they all have there unique methods and reasoning.
you make it seem like just because dragon ball has used energy power ups before. it would be a crime for any other manga to contain and energy power up. that wouldn't be fun at all. we'd miss out on maanny important manga.

You say that but sense the Shippuden arc we hardly get to see much of the other characters in the story. Sure they have a single fight here or there but nothing that was really like when Naruto first started, and it was all the other characters that I like in the manga. Im just waiting for the series to end soon so i can be done with it.

because by than musashi kishimoto has already captured you in his web. just like all the other fans. even if they disagree with the way things are going. they will continue to read it because they are already hooked.
