I had read this before but i still cant remember the title i think its something like Mitsuyaku or the cover is something like that its about a promise this boy made to his grandfather at his death bed that he will deliver grandfather's letter to this boy that lives in the prostitue house or something like that where he's the number one oiran and he have a long hair. The young boy just went in and shouted that he need the see this person but the person knew what was in the letter and didn't want to accept it. The boy was persistent and told the manager that he wont leave until he has fulfilled his promise to his grandfather.

Possibly "Roumantei no Jyuunin ~ Shinonome" by Sakuragawa Sonoko? I don't remember enough of the story to know for sure, but I know the general idea was the same.
