even if I'm on a school break now, I find myself waking up at 8:30am usually, maybe because I have to catch morning anime or cartoons on a local channel. 😀

I wake up around 9 or 10. I always get headaches if I sleep any later than that. I'm not sure why... 😕

When I don't have to get up, I usually stay in bed until 9:00 or 10:00. But I still wake up at 7:00, so what I'm really doing is staring at the wall from 7:00 to 10:00 refusing to get out of bed.

Around the clock. I wake up at different hours every day, Though more commonly during the night. For unknown reasons, I no longer have a functioning body clock.

Yes, 25 doctors and counting have tried to fix that little problem.

😲 That is serious, it's a type of Circadian rhythm sleep disorders, [the intrinsic type](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circadian_rhythm_sleep_disorder).

Your symptoms suggest that it's inclined to Irregular sleep-wake pattern, but after noticing that you have been receiving treatments from 25 (+?) doctors 😲 🙁 and considering you wake up more frequently at night, my diagnosis is : 😮 your original problem is the delayed sleep-phase disorder (it's just a reference, you don't need to read all of it,read the part that you feel like) moderate-severe delay (like many people with sleep disorder, they find it very difficult to wake up in time for a typical school or work day but feel alert at night).

Quote from wikipedia

DSPS is frequently misdiagnosed or dismissed. It has been named as one of the sleep disorders most commonly misdiagnosed as a primary psychiatric disorder.Practitioners of sleep medicine point out the dismally low rate of accurate diagnosis of the disorder, and have often asked for better physician education on sleep disorders

Well, i think you have undergone most of the treatments stated in wiki, thus what left is up to you, playing sport, reading, try to do anything that can exhaust you physically and mentally when it's the right time to sleep (9-12pm) 🙂 . Don't hope to be able to sleep normally in the first several days/weeks, but i think gradually it can help, definitely, because human can create their new biological clock if the old one is broken 😮 in a long period.

Finally,i don't know / care much about medical treatments, and just got interested in this "sleep disorder" stuffs some minutes ago, so, don't trust me entirely (in case you do o___o), instead believe in yourself that you can do it.
Edit: or you are actually a vampire... 😐

Normally... when I don't need to wake up, I don't have to for multiple days in a row. This causes me to have long and short "days" (days that could be as long as 28 hrs or as few as 18); so, I never wake up at the same time. Sometimes I would wake up around 4:00 PM... sometimes 5:30 AM... and everywhere in between.

This is mostly because I have no sense of time and an aversion to schedules.

Around 11:00-12:00, so right about lunch.
And 10:00 if I slept early.

Polite bump.

Between 11 & 12 AM. xD I love my sleep, and I appreciate it 'till I feel fully content. I don't like to overindulge in sleeping though. It would feel as if I wasted a lot of precious time, otherwise.

So yeah...

It sucks waking up early.

Dude, I wake up at like, 4:00 PM. o_o No joke.
Over the summer it gets difficult for me to get up at 12:00 PM for work.

If I happen to be reading a really good manga at night, or watching a really good anime, the latest I've stayed up until is 7:00 AM. xDD;

My schedule changed, so anywhere from 6:30am to 9am on days that I can "sleep in". >.<

I miss my late nights. 🙁

It depends whether it's a schoolday or summer vacation or a weekend.

Schooldays: 6:40 AM (Ugh I hate getting up)

Summer vacation: Around noon 🙂

Weekends: Depends if I'm going out but if I'm not, I wake up around noon. 😀

Nope. It isn't delayed sleep phase syndrome, as it does not respond to traditional treatments. DSPS should be treatable with some combination of light therapy/melatonin/sedatives. As of now, there is no diagnosis for whatever is wrong. It doesn't exist in medical terms or in research.

🤣 My family has fondly dubbed me "bat", which isn't too far off. Hypersensitvity to light is also another symptom which baffles my poor now 26 doctors.
